Dubai And The Ta'Wiz Of Balinas

Apollonius of Tyana.

In the Arabic recensions he is called 'Balinas.' 'Ta'Wiz' is simply the Arabic for 'talisman.'

The great tower of Dubai - the Burj Khalifa - was designed by Adrian Smith but it is based on most ancient towers of Babylon, of course. This is actually, a real 'talisman' of the kind Apollonius caused to be built. Today, we think of talismans as something small, maybe something to encircle your wrist.

Oh yum!

But in the past, they could be mighty structures, to serve as gigantic meaningful 'guide stars' as it were, to all the people around -, both those who lived there, as well as visitors and merchants travelling to the place for business.

On the one hand, you will find countless modern-day 'preachers' who all decry this Dubai tower, suggesting it is some sign of the End Days - but it is not that at all. Because on the other hand I say it is something Apollonius might have approved.

It is a highly auspicious structure. And will benefit its ruler, the city and all of the people who live there.

In his day, Apollonius caused certain quite large structures to be built by the rulers of various cities - and these were for the protection of those places and of the people who dwelt there.

Apart from the biography of Apollonius written by Philostratus, and which work merely dealt with the places Apollonius was said to have visited, and to the external things that he was reputed and even recorded in a small handful of instances, to have done - most of the writings on the internal teachings of Apollonius are radically false. 

Even so, most contain, of necessity, some superficial hints about what Apollonius really did, on account of that they necessarily had to refer to the obvious material artifacts he caused to be made.

None of the texts available to us today have the slightest clue of what Apollonius really knew or taught to his disciples.

And this is because, after all, the Pythagoreans were a secret group, and although our history today is calling this Apollonius (of Tyana) a 'neo-Pythagorean,' he was just a Pythagorean.

No members either of any of the Eleusinian Mystery cults, or of the Pythagoreans, have ever been attested in history to have revealed the secret inner teachings.

So how do they propose, the writers of any of the supposed books on the knowledge and teachings of Apollonius, to be able to declare anything about what he knew or held to be true, or taught?

These works are mere speculations. 

But despite this, as I just also said, some genuine clues do exist within those texts.

Only those who really are members of such secret groups can have accurate knowledge though, of any details and real authentic and full explanations.

Because after all, Apollonius was reputed to have had rare although not quite unique powers and abilities - though at least, such powers as no one commonly ever had, if they were ordinary human beings. So we can see that if many people ordinarily had such powers, the ways and means, mechanisms and processes of employing such powers would be known to all, and there would be no need for speculations - which are what you will find in the available recension texts.

And, when you compare those, to what you will read here - you will quickly realize that those ancient texts are all false and mostly lies and speculations!

Dubai And The Talismans Of Apollonius

What you will read in that linked short text, is quite astonishing, especially for Arabic people, who likely will not be aware of the remarkable connections between Arabic culture and those ancient, rather mysterious goings-on, that Philostratus first chronicled, and the people involve at the highest levels.

But if you really earnestly want to have great and good fortune when it comes, especially, to all property and real estate matters, you simply must concern yourself with the teachings of the Master of Talismans (Sahib al-Tilasmat) - Apollonius of Tyana.
