But I will outline some of the core aspects.
You see, I do not believe our friend Stanley Kubrick (about whom I gush all too frequently, of course)... ...I simply don't believe that the Indian mantra chanting in the backing tracks of the infamous 'orgy scenes' inside the 'dark mansion' are in there just because Stanley Kubrick thought they were 'great creepy sounds that go with the creepy scene.'
No, the chants themselves are from the Shiva Stotram - which is the pre-eminent Vedic yogic mantram in very high class poetry verses used in rituals for the destruction of the ego.
...A-a-a-a-nd, well, there are going to be some people in the 'mainstream Christian space' who are really not going to like any suggestion of mine that Christianity is literally a form of Vedic religion. Especially, they are not going to like it if I said something like, well, we know that Kubrick has apparently quite obviously mimicked a Christian 'church-y' thing with his 'Red Cloak' ritual with 'magic circle' and all that, with the incense and everything - at least, it's obvious enough and that is what everyone thinks... ...but no, he was depicting an actual Christian ritual.
Oh dear. Can't go down that path, right?
But you've got to realize something - you don't know what those 'behind closed door' rituals really were; you only have some 'reports' made by outsiders to the Roman Emperor Trajan (obvious not a Christian...) as to what went on inside there.
Trance music thing again... |
Every single one of the elements of the Vedic Maha Devi secret ritual is present though, from the evidence (IE the words and elements present) of the Gospel and New Testament texts - the clear water, the appearance of a divine spirit of some kind, the 'Lord of Love' is literally mentioned as clearly as that in the actual Shiv-mantra, in South India they used 'Appam' cakes in the ritual and have done for thousands of years, well before Christianity as such...
The Greek texts of the Gospels even actually uses a Greek word for 'Yoga.'
Anyway forget all that! I'm still mulling over how far to reveal stuff here...
If I get people screaming blue murder at me, I'll maybe hold off.
This is not far up the road from where we live - and that is Kate Walsh, who was stuck here and thinks the place is just great. Which it is. |
Although I could literally show you... And then you have to just deal with what you see, what your eyes and hears are telling you.
Meanwhile, let's just think about all the poor people that got stuck around the place when the Covid international travel bans happened.
This was not the music video I was going to post - I was actually going to post a modern trance music version of the Shiva Stotram. It's not available as a YT video and I would have had to link to a FaceBook page. Might still do that later.
