[One of the great epithets of the God Hermes, is 'Arkhos Pheleteon' also 'Kleftis' which is the same thing except it does have that double-meaning of holding a Key and not giving you what is under the Lock-and-Key. Cleopatra does have that dual meaning to it. The God Hermes was the Leader of all Thieves, because he stole the cattle of Apollo when he was but a very small child. He is also stealthy and in that shares some attributes of his aunts - Athena and Divine Aphrodite, in that those two both entered men's heads by way of their feathered feet. Hermes has winged sandals on his feet, as you know. He is a very great thief]
And just a suggestion too, before we get started - I do not wish to just make people rush headlong into buying stuff, be it books or any other thing. In the case of what will be talked about here and now below, you can easily get a free PDF online, so at least you will easily be able to see what the thing is about and refer to it if needs be.

Could be any time, any age.
And also, don't rush headlong into thinking what you may have thought before about the particular book title in question, imagining that there were ever people here on this planet in any recent times, I would even say in any recent centuries, despite the version itself is not that old... ...who understood what is in the text itself. (That sentence sounds anachronistic but you'll understand in a minute).
But the basic thing is, though, that the text we are going to talk about is not so much the (real) thing itself, but a long poetic text which contains enough elements of the core 'narrative' that one can 'get some bearings' so to speak, on the subject involved.
The first part of the 'challenging' aspect is merely that most people will argue about whether something is just poetic writing, and whether it has any ties back to some truly ancient and original source, and many people will also just go the plain vanilla popular route -, and thus run straightaway to David Icke and say that he is telling the story, the whole story, and nothing but the whole truthful story; et cetera.
...So I am going to be telling you 'a' story but it is not the David Icke one though.
Secondly, the people of the Islamic Faith, if they were to read this, would get a sudden bout of shifty feet, as it were - because it will definitely challenge some things in such a way that they have absolutely never encountered before or heard before.
And at same time however - like I have said many times before in here - I do not want to simply tear something down, and replace it with nothing at all.
But anyway, let's get down to it:
I think most people who could even care less about this particular 'thing,' already know that there is a difference between The Emerald Tablet, and The Emerald Tablets; plural.
One is a 'said-to-be' artifact from some ancient time, and the other is a book published for the first time, in America, in the 1940's although no one is certain exactly when, or by what actual Printing Press.

What do we need bookshops for? We don't need no bookshops! We're advanced. We're smart. We have tablets.
What most, even should-be-fairly-learned, commentators, do not note - is that the US Presidents from the very first ones, possessed incredibly 'interesting' library collections, and it is not much a secret I don't think, that even seemingly quite weird associations such as 'A.M.O.R.C.,' are part of the CIA vast panoply of information sources and networks of 'text readers.' The plain fact is, you need to be a good reader to be able to go through long, often obscure and sometimes quite pointless, documents, to be able to analyze information. Today, we tend to think of CIA people being good with 'data' rather than with complex ideas in written form, be it transcribed recordings or actual composed texts.
Jefferson had a particularly keen interest in seemingly occult, although more leaning towards the standard mainstream religious, books and ancient artifacts and subjects.
Anyway, this guy 'Maurice Doreal' (not his real name, his real name was Claude Dodgin) writes this 'The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean' last century, and it was claimed to have been his translation of actual scrolls or texts or something, that he himself actually found in Egypt, literally in Giza. None of that is supported by any publicly-known fact, but what I can say for sure, is that his narrative of these 'Tablets' conforms with Plato's account which came via Plato's own real relative Solon - who is regarded as the 'Moses of Athens,' and the person most responsible for Athenian Law. He is known commonly throughout history as 'Solon the Law-Giver.'
So we are not talking about some minor figure, or someone that no one else knew about, but rather, someone that the whole of Classical Athens and Greece knew well, and certainly would have halted Plato if he told anything inconsistent with the common knowledge.
Thus, absolutely for certain, Solon went to Egypt, spoke with the Temple Priests there, and got from them their own understanding and account of the idea that Egypt and Greece and other places too - had histories which had gone back a lot longer way than people believed; tens of thousands of years, in fact, and that there had been not 'One Great Flood,' but several in succession. And this does hold up to modern archaeological scholarship.

But I will put it to you for your consideration at this junction - people generally have powerful financial and economic motivations to produce books that everyone then 'consumes,' reads.
That is not to mean they are all only propaganda, but that regularly, there is some actual meaningful hard material consequence of a particular idea, which is being conveyed via books and writings and drawings - Euclid's Principles of Geometry is one great example of that.
So what I am saying is that back in that day - way way back in Ancient or so-called 'Classical' times, there was a known reason that that certain particular text (we are talking about here) was much in demand...
Okay. So here's the bit that will shock Muslims. You all think 'the Quran' is some relatively new (forget that God wrote it, for the moment, okay) work coming in the 6th century via Muhammad.
Hmn.
Let's go back to the fact that there are no vowels in the 6th century in the Arabic language.
Also that the Arabs who had taken over part of the manuscript culture from the imploding Persian Empire, were by now already long translating Greek and Roman texts.
And thus, the practice of tuning the endings of nouns to denote the particular thing, and separating it from all other generic versions as a category of things - as the Greeks do to turn 'Iannis' to 'Ianni (with a silent 'n' at the end), or 'Platon' whereas the English translators call him Plato - was something the Arabic scribes also did.
The Egyptian word for 'Emerald' is 'Allah-Zu-Mar-Ud.' Which is very similar to the Arabic 'Alzumarud.' The Greeks said it 'Smaragdys.'

You want?
The Egyptian word for 'Tablet' is 'QRS.'
And the Egyptian word for THE Tablet - is QRN.
LOL
Got it now?
So... You think you know where THE QRN came from, do you? ...That it comes from the 6th century or around there.
Meanwhile, let's go back to the idea of 'motivation.' The Emerald Tablet, reveals everything about the human being, the human species, Evil -, and Good.
It also defines what a 'god' is.
That is to say, the real Emerald Tablet does.
And, in any public awareness, there is no such thing. Historians admit there have always been references to such a thing, plenty of talk about such a thing, but no actual thing. And they say there may not ever have been such a thing, just that it probably was a metaphor or a literary device to talk about Divine subject matter.
See the real thing is, the motivation for people to want to read such a thing, is that it opened all locked doors to humans, allowed magic and miracles and was known to give the person who possessed it and its knowledge, enormous power.
And that is why anyone ever even set about to write something down they wanted to convince others was THE QRN.
When you go into your closed room at night, and you pray, and you pray to some God you think that you know because your society taught it to you, you absolutely one hundred percent for sure, know, that (because the excuse given by those miscreant liars who taught you absolute rubbish - is that you must not ask for such selfish things...) when you have prayed for a million dollars or a Ferrari car, nothing happened.

Hermione Norris - English actress looking rather dour there. Feminine version of 'Hermes' though, the name.
And that's really because you don't know who to address, how to address them, what to say to them that will convince them to give you the power that you require. Or that they even exist.
But all of that is in The Tablet.
Certainly you can get hints of it from the Doreal text. Where he got what he got, from, who's to say.
Icke draws heavily from the text to talk about his snake-people, his Reptilians and Serpents and so on. He even has referred explicitly to Doreal's book.
It is certainly where all these current people such as David Grusch and well, all of them, are getting the idea that the US Government has hard material fact knowledge of Aliens and Reptilians - and all kinds of things.
It is in the last Epistle of Peter - '2 Peter' - where he clearly echoes the chronology of the Emerald Tablets, and talks about the fact that in the far distant future, multiple scoffers and deceivers, firstly doubt that any 'Second Coming' or 'Return' or 'Final Destruction' will, or will ever, take place, and secondly they dishearten people and make them forget about 'other ancient texts and prophecies., difficult to understand...' And he links it in that passage specifically to the Flood subject matter that is in part the key material of the Emerald Tablet, and also of course Plato's account of the Destruction of Atlantis, both of which are sourced back to the Egyptian Temple Priests of Hermopolis, or, as the Egyptological pronunciation is: Khem-opolis.' This is where we get our modern word 'Chemistry' from.
...From the first Earth-located Khemist - Khemis, aka Hermes aka 'Thoth' aka 'Thoth the Atlantean.
...aka the person who built the Herm al-Akbar, the Great Pyramid of Giza.
All the same fellow. An ancestor of mine, apparently, so the family narrative inclusive even of today's Ionian Island natives, goes.
Now he never said for people to worship Hermes, that is, himself. No.
He explained what the Gods were doing and where they were, and what you had to do to get their attention.
Now the difference between what I am telling you and most or all of the other books around today in the 'religious mode' especially, people's interpretations of those books and texts - is that when you 'pray' according to those, nothing at all will happen. And when you do what I am telling you, things will happen like a Thief in the Night. Good things. But this all might be a Bridge Too Far for most folk -, to accept. I understand that.
