It all starts, in the Western World at least, with a misreading of not only passages in the Bible, but the whole story - the narrative, as they say nowadays - about the very VERY old man, Abraham:
'...And being fully persuaded, that what He had promised, He was able to perform.'
And so the rest of everything that people talk about, and say, is always about 'the future, the future;' what will (might!) happen (or not).

If you go take a look at any AI image of what the 'AI' thinks 'Heaven looks like,' it will be the same kind of thing that all the images from the Judeo-Christian mindset, or the Quran/Islamic mindset, always depict.
It's all the same.
It's all wrong.
The key phrase in the sentence quoted above, is - 'and being fully persuaded.'
How, fully persuaded?
That is not a 'future delivery' thing. Not a future, to-be-delivered - thing.
Fully persuaded is about now stuff.
I am persuaded now -, BECAUSE...
We know what humans are. They get born, don't know any 'before' (except the people in on-line videos with their personal assertions, and that's fine but it's not facts and evidence), grow old, decline, die, and don't know any 'thereafter' that they can come back and tell about, report on (except for those on-line spirit channelers and so on).
But we don't really know what humans are...

I mean what are they?
What exactly is this thing all about?
...And how come people like Stephen Fry are always trying to negate hope, and perpetually insist on injecting turgid hopelessness and depressing ideas...
And constantly - they do it constantly and continuously and they always get the platform to do it, and they have literally no talent at all. If by 'talent' we mean - say, what Chopin had.
Pythagoras's Theorem is 'God.'
That is, in the matter of that it fulfills some of the standard definitions for 'God,' then it absolutely is God for sure.
It has no 'sentience' obviously, or - not in any way that is obvious to us. It doesn't speak in our human tongue.
But it has power over everything it encounters and rules over them, and it exists beyond Time, outside of Linear Time, and outside of Matter and material Space as an Idea.
Therefore it is part of the whole thing that 'God' must be and is.
We, on the other hand, do not exist outside of our own personal linear life-times; and we have power exactly, more or less, over nothing at all...

But we have sentience. We have a personal consciousness and we speak -, and communicate. With others. Be they cats or dogs, birds or trees, and even, in some rare instances, with other humans.
Why did I say that?
Because humans are completely incapable of communicating with each other.
Oh yes, they talk, and they talk back and so on -.
But it's all meaningless gibberish.
'Joy,' the original 'Tree of Life' word, is a permanent, eternal, experiencing of pleasure.
It's not something that you feel the one time only.

But even if you have Joy, as in, the real Joy that we are talking about here - it is insufficient unless you care.
I mean I can go around, like a child in the Universe, but with extreme power say -, killing and smashing absolutely everything I encounter. And I can feel absolute glee doing it. Expending energy; like children do.
Unless you know what to care, means - then you can have no Joy.
On the one hand, humans experience decline and decay, death and loss - and then they understand their own feelings.
Do they care yet? I don't know.
Maybe not quite yet.
Maybe over some generations, if they were reincarnated lots, then maybe, at some point, they will understand what 'to care' means.
You cannot 'Love' unless you care; unless you even have the understanding of what 'to care' means.
I feel.
Yes, sure.
Humans feel. They possess senses and a cerebral cortex with which to process those feelings.

If they process them wrong (the feelings) - then they still don't care; don't understand caring.
Caring is not what that actor Liam Neeson is going on about when he wants you to donate to starving kids.
He's using the word but he doesn't understand the word and he doesn't want to understand it and more to the point, he definitely doesn't want you to understand it.
See... The thing is, the Triangle is a template.
And, so are many books, ancient books available to the human race, templates....
So are a few structures.
Abraham was coming back from a battle that he narrowly won, only just escaping with his own life intact too - a battle in which he was trying to rescue Lot (and by the way, the Sign of Lot persists in all Eschatologies, whether Islamic or Christian or Jewish... think about it).
And to be frank with you, the 'Sign of Lot' is the same thing as Arjuna and the Final Battle story. But anyway let's leave that aside.
It is the Time of Noah, but the Sign, is the Sign of Lot.
He is trying to save Lot from the Kings of Iran.
What?!
He he. Oh yes. He defeated the King of Elam. Elam = Iran.
And by the way, the Bible tells who is the only person who knows and understands about these things and will explain them at the End Days.
But never mind that...
So, Abraham narrowly wins, and narrowly escapes, and then he is met on the road back by Three Gods.

Yes. Three and they are all gods.
One's name is the Hypotenuse, the other is the Base, and the other is the Perpendicular.

Anyway. Anyway.
So yeah, we learn about rising peaks, then decays, and death.
And from what we see that we are losing - or have lost - what we feel loss for.
But wait a minute!
Music also has peaks and troughs, decays of sound and vibration, and the endings of songs. But they are perfect in themselves inclusive of 'losses:' decays and death (the end of the song).
So in Life, that is, just normal human lifespans -, we know both actual permanent termination/s, as well as set-piece examples of series's of waves and troughs, peaks and decays and endings.
The Chinese are very practical when it comes to this stuff - the Taoist teachings about how to get 'spiritual winds' from the 'Pre-Heaven' (is what they term it) 'space,' and induct it into your 'heart' (zone; they don't mean actual organic heart) -, is all very practical. You can use it, and you can 'do it;' and it works too.
And the other traditions are better at explaining what the point of it is - the point is, although humans all think they can have love, and they can love someone and/or something because of the force of attractiveness, they cannot do it unless they care.
'Attraction' (attractiveness) is what draws you. The power to care that the other person will have also, the power to care back - is what enables Love to form up the triangulated forces involved.
You can be attracted to, and then think you are 'loving' someone (else) but unless they can care in return, it is not actual love but misplaced trust and the expenditure of a 'God force.'
That God force just swirls around then and goes away.
And actually then, Death does happen.
When you place your trust, in something that you know, then, like Abraham, you are fully persuaded, that what is promised, is able to be delivered.
And that is what you are doing here. Being attracted to what is attractive (because that is an objective thing; not a subjective relativistic thing - like Stephen Fry wants to tell you). Reaching out with your mind-force, that you care inside and that you hope, the other entity cares back.
'Hope' is also an objective thing. It is simply a stand-point.
A conscious decision to Intellectualize trust in the future Based on the Hypotenuse.
If anything at all, goes in this direction, which is a vector of some other thing also going in the same direction (different vector, same end-point) - then it will inevitably meet up given the limitlessness of Time and Space, assuming sufficient force and energy.
That, is the meaning of Love.

Well, it is in terms of humans, living what they all think is some terminating 'life.' So naturally there are 'Stephen Fry's' too. And plenty of them. Because they cannot see 'the future' and they do not want to see it either, because their vectors have nothing at all to do with caring about you, and less still, that you would care about them per se.
They are angry, ugly, people with zero attractive qualities whatsoever. Why would you care about them - they are gulling you and being glib: 'naturally' as humanists you must care, right? Not right.
They are only interested in overpowering you so that they are the center of attention always. And not you. Never you.
'Science' ahead of you and your personal interests. Because words like that are ciphers for them themselves ahead of everything else.
Don't you believe in the Science? That means, don't you believe in them.
Where do 'they' come from?
Why do they always seek to overpower others by force and not by caring that the other's perspectives and wishes are equivalent to anything they want and/or say?
Because they cannot 'love...'
Can-not.
And they know it.

They do not belong to the Realm of Joy.
See what if you are one half of 'God...' 'God' being you and all those you care about and who care about you in return.
Then what about those who want to stand in the way, and cut you all off from each other?
Isn't that the very definitional meaning of 'Satan?'
'Satan' is not a dead thing, a non-existent thing; it is Existential completely. It is real and it 'lives.' Albeit it is also real Death, and really Dead with a capital 'D.' It only lives and can only live within the mortal framework.
It is a consequence of the Objective Material Reality of Truth being always and perpetually a relationship between things.
Thus it is the natural opposite.
Therefore it cannot perpetually live nor be 'immortal.'
But it is absolutely intelligent and existential and 'living' and 'alive' in the human linear now.
And that is because the Objective Material Reality of Truth is Intelligent and Sentient.
Sadly (for him), Stephen Fry has no 'supernatural' powers.
Whereas you do. 'Whenever two or more of you...' ...then ANYTHING you say will happen.
Means 'where two or more of you care.' Together.
Human Linear Time and Space have no meaning in that.
Try it.
See the results.
Test it. And then 'be fully persuaded.'
All the rest are just theories. Untested; and when they are they don't work.
