Moskva Missile Cruiser

Might as well stay with the present themes for a little while...

Here is a pic of the Russian Missile Cruiser, 'Moskva.'

The thing about this ship is that it has a weird reputation. There is a theory that it possesses an electronic directed energy system of some kind that can disable electronic communications, as well as project microwave energy that heats up selected targets.

This is the ship that has been sent to be stationed off Syria to integrate with the air missions running to the Turkey border.

There is no formal acknowledgement in major media resources that countries possess and are really able to deploy these kinds of weapons although the US has disclosed very large budget items to do with these kinds of weapons.

Without some formal acknowledgement that these weapons exist, it would be difficult for NATO or anyone else to claim that planes falling out of the sky from, say, Turkey, were being targeted by Russia.
New Russian PAK-FA flight equipment -
some of the technology (aerol-gel) came from Lawrence Livermore Laboratories,
in the USA!

Was it a mistake, for the Russian Su-24 to have been caught so off-guard like that? ...don't know. Well, it was a mighty big step for the Turks; they are brave people.

I don't think that anyone should be as to any doubt though, that Russia will go a lot further than all the 'de-escalation' claptrap would lead the general public to suppose.

I have noticed recently, several Russia-allied 'military and strategic' analysts commenting in the media about how the US military was still far and away the superior military power in the world... And that just told me they were very confident it wasn't so. That's what these people do - they tell fibs diverting people away from what they regard as a strategic advantage.

There's simply no point trying to pretend nothing is going to happen. The media is talking about how restrained the Russians are/have been, and how everyone is talking about de-escalation...

You have to factor in what the Turks did was a week from what happened in Paris. Certainly, they are very brave people. Almost shameless so, really.

De-escalation? How would that happen; people are on the verge of dragging Russia into hot conflict with NATO. Why would they stop so close to getting what they want? We shall of course, live to see the answer. Others though, shall not.
