An Obscure Passage...

There is a fairly obscure passage in the New Testament, that religious commentators all rush straight away to its obvious evident textual meaning - which is that there were at that time a 'leader group' who would be able to personally relay, basically, 'how to lead your life,' and it was not that just anyone around who acquired certain 'powers' (I guess they meant miracles being done) it seems.

However, that is not the really obscure part of the passage in question.

It occurs in the Letter to the Hebrews (a topical subject!), and it just outright says that there were quite a number of people who had more than likely even been actually present in the larger groups who followed Jesus when He spoke publicly, and had completely done all the things that one was supposed to - and yet, 'they had not received the Promise.'

What does that mean 'the Promise?' What 'Promise?' Or which specific one, maybe; seems there were a few if you look into the whole body of the canonical writings as they are collected today.

I have many times mentioned here that I worry that in today's world, with the economic demands of basically just surviving, people cannot possibly have the time to go into all of the great ancient philosophical writings from the past, all of the maths and the logic discourses, the moral discourses...

...How then is anyone going to yet one step further on still, get into the practices of thinking structurally and in systematic process form, that can access those hidden faculties, seldom used, and never 'scientifically' or neurologically in terms of standard modern concepts, considered as even being there at all?

To the old-school Jungians (and there are only 'old school' Jungians!), certainly those faculties are given credit as existing in people - absolutely they are with the Jung School people.

On the surface you would suppose that even the Jungians never carried out any formal studies designed to gather data on such faculties, but that is not true. There's plenty of data in the hands of Jungian scholars but none of that ever sees the light of publication in the English language. 

And none of it ever will be accepted anyway by standard mainstream academia today as being 'objective studies.'

Notoriously, the stubborn Mr Wilhelm Reich definitely reported on such studies and wrote about his findings - and he was jailed and died there in the United States on some weird pretend charges that appear to have more to do with the kind of thing Robert Kennedy Jr is going on about now -, than anything legitimately of a 'legal matter' as such.

Times change of course, and Robert Kennedy is an example of that but then again, there is nothing to say he won't be 'off'ed' either in short order.

But times do change especially in the sense that people very broadly become aware of some matter, which fits into a neat frame which doesn't challenge them personally as 'normal' and 'fully-equipped' human beings - and so they slowly add that thing into their overall picture of 'reality.'

I have for a very long time here, years in fact, if only quite casually - so as not to offend the ears of the perpetual expert scientists and de-bunkers (who are all fools though, frankly, these days; maybe not in the distant past but certain nowadays they are) -, mentioned that at our local Primary School all the teachers and the highly-trained specialists who work with the Autistic kids, are aware of very difficult-to-explain-away incidents of 'group telepathy' between some of the children.

...Some of you may have come across this thing on the internet about the so-called 'going to the Hill chatroom' telepathy groups of Autistic children from all over the world, I say 'children' because I think this is still only a fairly recent phenomena in terms of being publicly talked about.

Well that's all still kids though.

Your experience of 'reality' is not what you assume it to be - the late Professor David R. Hawkins goes into this a bit in his material: the human experiences reality at a 'frame rate' based on the incoming sensory stimuli of his body system, which is all pretty slow in the range of possibilities.

The reason that I suggest you internalize a concept of extreme fast 'spinning' is to tune your mind up to a higher functioning speed of accepting data and sensory information.

In the casual scheme of things, what you 'might' sometimes be fleetingly aware of, is some person or some thing appearing in your immediate consciousness but only extremely briefly.

As humans we all want material delivery.

But then too, what you will find that you do in your daily life as a human, is carry around 'open questions,' unresolved things that require a definite piece placed into the space where something is 'missing.'

You can get satisfied whenever that real existential 'missing piece' is fitted in with something valid somehow.

And you can be satisfied when you 'receive the Promise' too.

Either of them can happen, but the first will happen because it is based on a faculty that you already possess.
