Where are we going?
What do we expect to find when we get there?
Where is 'there?'
You know...
....Once upon a time - right - once, upon, a time. There was this rich and powerful city state, where everything was simply wonderful. It was the Golden Age.
Taking off from the Nabatean caves. |
But then, the people became full of themselves and forgot about god and began to think everything was all about them and that they could do as they pleased.
And so, God in His Highest Heaven, looked down to the Earth at them, and remembered when they had remembered Him.
And so He sent down teams of very advanced and knowledgeable psychologists and special chefs and physiologists and so on all in 'god-branded' futuristic uniforms, and pretty soon the whole place was fixed up again and the people regained their minds and their previous estates, because after all, God is Good and He can do anything.
And that is actually true.
But that is not the way things are told here on the planet.
Back down here on the planet, 'god' (or 'God') sends an earthquake to kill all the people. No problem. Problem solved.
And then, another guy poisons a bunch of wells in a place where caravans taking real Frankincense are traveling through, and he then captures those caravans and makes immense wealth from that because he was the only one who knew which of the wells he had not poisoned. And then he makes an account saying that 'Oh, God was punishing these people. see?'
God was.
Because God needs to do that.
Herod's man standing guard in the Jordan desert - Wadi Rum elite resort. |
Because He is so impotent He can do nothing else than create poverty and suffering and death and destruction.
He has weapons like Washington does and He makes use of them.
And then He appoints people to tell of His Greatness thereafter. And boy you'd better believe it too, or else you could be visited with pain and suffering and destruction!
Also, 'God' goes on ten hour train journeys through war zones...
Hey.
The only people I am atheistic about is you - you humans.
Oh, so you want me to show you real God first though, before you step back from the abyss of mindless and militant stubbornness and aggressive behaviors?
Okay. So the caravans were taking real Frankincense, right?
You know what real Frankincense is like, right?
No, you don't.
You've never seen it, you've never had it in your hands.
I am not going to somewhere's else.
Yes I have the Frankincense and I am taking it, but I have it.
When the Three Wise Kings took off on their journey to find something, they already had Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.
They already had G, F, and M - what else were they looking for?
The story does not say that after having given their stuff to someone, they went away empty-handed. It says the angel came to them specifically, and told them to avoid going back to Herod and to return by another way.
And then one day, many thousands of sunsets after that, there you are, in some desert, be it a cultural one, a social one or a material one, and you look up to the night skies and you ask: 'Where is the angel - the one who told me what to do that time?'
Have you packed your camel's bags?
What is it you are taking this time?
What do you already have in your pack?
It could be 'nothing.'
It could even be nothing. It's you that counts.
You count for everything.
Your friends should be serving you something worthy of you...
You cannot know, you do not know, who or what God really is, unless you have sat down with friends and those other travelers from the Nabatean pass, and tired, but looking forward to your host delivering the meal, and each of you exchanging some story of what you have done and where you have been and what things you have encountered on your journeys.
What are we eating, guys and girls? I expect to hear from you on this.
Are you going to forward into here, your thoughts on what should be served?
...This gets going after 1.35 mins, maybe 2 minutes actually:
