Not to be confused with Larimar gemstones, also from the Dominican Republic, and also blue - there is such a thing as 'blue amber' and it is virtually only found in the Dominican Republic although there are claims some may be found in Indonesia, but I haven't encountered any real examples from there.
Blue Amber |
The reason I am talking about this now, is because it is an example of a major issue with the human race.
A few days ago I heard from a commercial player in the fragrance business, who was talking to a group of people, and he repeated the same utter BS that many people in the racket say, which is that 'amber is a fantasy accord' made synthetically because real amber has no odor.
So, before the Borg operating in internet world take this down, here is the Wiki entry sponsored by the government of the Dominican Republic via their library systems there - on 'Dominican Blue Amber.'
Seeing that virtually no one here or anywhere would just 'take my word for it' and they would insist that Wikipedia is the better authority, at least you can read in the link that what I have said is correct - if you accept that Wiki always tells the truth.
However, things being what they are, a few years from now, you might be darn lucky to find that there even was such a thing as 'Dominican Blue Amber!' ...And by and by, everyone in the whole world, especially 'scientists,' will be all over the shop screaming at you never to listen to people such as myself, and that of course, amber has no odor. Well like many things, it has no odor until heated or burned. Then it (all types of it) has a very distinctive odor.
There are a number of reasons the large European fragrance industry-based voices tell lies about many things, and we don't need to go into them (all, or even any) here.
But what it is a sign of, is that there is something terribly and terminally flawed with the brain of the common human being at large.
There are just so many things on-line - in written information resources as well as on audio-visual platforms - everywhere these days, and the content of those things to an enormously large extent is very far short of factual or even truthful.
It's different where someone is openly saying 'this is an opinion piece.'
Never mind - as my one-time German production manager used to say, 've prezz on.'
LOL
Okay so I have already said it has become impossible to openly give out clear-cut details here...
Still, there might be some kids with aspirations, you know, appropriate to their 'youth' and energy. So who knows? Maybe.
...You know - if a really hot bundle of electron energy comes in through the North Polar sink, and it is really very fast, and it violently hits some decent amount of nitrogen or oxygen or helium, we would get some amazing auroras up there!
Won't make you any money, but it's something you can see clearly.
Wonder why there haven't been that many people using the Steven Greer CE5 thing who are seeing things clearly yet...
Or else, if they are they are not telling anyone.
They are certainly not going on-line and carrying on like so many others do who have, actually, got nothing to say, really. Or nothing new to say, that is.
Haven't you noticed how so much stuff is just repetition over and over and over, of something very old and that everyone really has already heard, even if only dimly, before; and many times before at that?
I dunno. I have 'moral questions' over the underlying subtext of a truly advanced intelligent species coming here - and finding a flawed sub-species.
Well, in fact I haven't any 'moral questions' - I have practical questions.
I would like you to have nice things, and some - not many but some - really special friends. Enough money so that your kids think you're a genius (or that you parents think you are not a total loser!).
Not because you 'are a good person.'
You want this. But I just like the camera angle and the lens work, the reflections. |
But well, just because; why not?
I'd like you to have what you earnestly want.
Sometimes though, you have to ask yourself 'are you being in earnest?'
What that means is, if you had an earnesty (look it up) then you could face the hard yards that you know might be entailed as a result of the responsibility of what you learned.
Damn. Wait. the internet is convinced there is no word 'earnesty.' But there is, it is an English word, and it means a small payment up front in good faith. Well, it isn't even something 'in good faith' - it means a small installment, a foretaste, a pledge, of anything afterwards to be received in greater abundance.
