Fast Cars Philosophy

In the consumer society, post-industrial era, in context of the deflationary but otherwise magic money era of the Federal Reserve System of the United States, it has become folkloric among the older generation that the motif of 'fast cars and fast women' (the aphorism here quoted) is in some way morally bad.

I mean I suppose one could take the two elements apart too, and look at each separately - either just 'fast cars,' or 'fast women...'
American whiskey -
could Jesus have done miracles over this?
If he were in America, why not? Why is wine so 'hot?'
It's all about culture, and social style. It's a point of
interesting difference, not moral problem.

Though just what is a 'fast woman' anyway; is this something like a woman flying around on a broomstick like in the old days of the Salem Witch Trials...

Why does the woman have to be 'constant' and the man yet not need to have something to recommend himself as being a thing worth sticking around for?

Well anyway, these are just common phrases that people use that can cover a lot of territory.

And fast cars are bad because - they are dangerous, they are unnecessary, they are frivolous, decadent, expensive, mindless testosterone things, contribute to carbon pollution...?

Okay of course I'm sure I know what the morally problematic angles are on a simple level. 'Gross' materialism is an understandably bad way of carrying on your life. Pure aspiration to material things for the sake of envy of material possessions is destructive in so many ways.

But then there is also art and authentic culture and social style and human thematic resonance.
New, 2016 Shelby Mustang GT

Why is the inner spirit, the cultural and/or social soul, and the personal being, necessarily a separate thing from the things we, as humans make, and use in our lives?

No - the things which cause moral failure are different from the items, even the expensive and rather frivolous, items of material modern existence. A lack of respect for naked beauty is the one sure sign of real moral deterioration, in my view.

Undervaluing things, and overvaluing ideology and dogma, is morally transgressing; that's what turns things bad inside of someone. And their soul stops breathing and stops living, and then a vestige only of human energy lingers on, pretending to be a human being, and pretending to be alive.

Sacred Cows - the 'Bo'-vine

Well you're all reasonable people here, I know. I know that you realize that symbols are used all the time by human beings, and by all kinds of groups, but these symbols are more often than not, just simple and quite mundane appropriations of shapes and ideas in graphics - almost caricatures, in most cases.

And for the most part too, they are contemporaneous adaptions of a fairly limited set of long-in-the-tooth basic symbols.

Depending on how well-read or well-educated whoever is doing the 'symbol appropriation,' you will get varying degrees of linkage to traditional meanings, and more than just a little often - you will get 'mash-ups,' a blending and even a jamming-up of totally contradictory ideas and their representative signs and symbols.
'The Owl of Minerva?' -
it's not the right owl, though

Things turn into fashions and then fads very quickly. That is just the way it is with human society.

Today's 'Jay-Z is an Illuminati puppet' is tomorrow's 'who's Jay-Z?!'

The fact is, the Rotary Club plants trees in semi-circles all over the world, not just in someplace called 'Bohemian Grove' - and all of these Rotarian tree places are also called 'groves.' Usually, they commemorate the work of volunteers to some fairly banal social cause or other.

Okay I can see how it's possible to look at a lot of recent modern pop music and stage acts and so on, and see that it draws an awful lot on what is very commonly supposed to be some sinister imagery, be it black magic, or from pop satanism or satanic folklore, or more ancient Egyptian motifs.

A relatively wise-headed rapper recently said that he believed the 'Illuminati' imagery in rap music and other entertainment forms sprang from people just generally being interested and entertained by intrigue, and controversy, and hints of the mysterious, and of secret things.

People are not really interested in actual secret things. They're not very good at keeping secrets in the first place!

The only kind of secret that can be maintained is one that requires inquirers to take a lot of time and patience to understand in the first place - something the requires a deep commitment of time and brainpower.

Yes there are sinister secrets and sinister organizations, and dangerous groups and very dangerous people - but I'm afraid Katy Perry and Jay-Z and/or their production companies are not examples of these.

For one thing, they mess up a lot of the 'symbology' itself and alter the real hidden meanings - and to me it often looks like by sheer accident.

...humor - just underlining it for the too serious

Where you will not see hidden sinister symbols and meanings altered or messed around with though, is in the movie and video and print ads coming from some of the world's most prominent Madison Avenue advertising consultants.

These things are a quantum leap away from pop entertainment and you won't see the mixing up of signs and symbols here. 'Bohemian' and 'Grove' for instance, actually are contradictory occult or arcane words... I've mentioned that before.

You have to be very astute and observant and quick and knowledgeable to catch what Madison Avenue does in its productions.

Those myriad Christian-type commentators who rapidly jump at shadows and label everything with the 'Evil' brush and appear to think everyone is surrounded by dark forces all the time in the guise of anything and everything, are really serving only to hide all the more so, what is truly capable of doing damage to people - and this is whether you care to say to their lives as well as their 'souls.'

The dangerous forms of propaganda dis-empower the individual at every turn. That is the ideology and the mechanism used for keeping power.

There is a 'they' all right.

They are not after self-expression, as musicians and artists are. They are after the maintenance of what they perceive is an entitlement to power.

Blindly follow an 'expert' allowed to take the mic and the stage in today's media and you are falling into this particular rabbit-hole. Believe me, you will have cherished sacred cows too...

Of course I cannot expect people to give up their own personal sacred cows. Your personal sacred cow. And I don't expect it.

I expect you to be surprised, when your sacred cow is sacrificed. But you won't be able to say you were never warned. Look to your own sacred cows. Are they really who you think they are?

Show Me To The Future

I can be very annoying on planes, if I'm with someone else.

Especially if that person hasn't traveled with me before, and especially, if they're nervous about flying (some people still are and these days you wouldn't wonder either!).
Alone, is First Class - I hate business class, it's full of
earnest try-hards making noises with their technology

You know that part where the engines really wind up and you can hear that difference in tone and power - that's the exact moment, just as the wheels begin to move forward a bit and then start fully rolling THAT'S THE MOMENT when I grab them or the sides of the seat and go: "MARDEEEE! WE GOTTA GO BAA-AACK..." And they suddenly turn and for a split second stare at you in doubt and confusion... "BACK TO THE FUTURE!!"

Can't help it, really. I'm always just one DeLorean from screwing up the space/time continuum for everybody. (Someone else said that, must've said that; I'm not sure where I picked the phrase up from).

Where is the future now? What's it looking like now for us here on planet Earth?

Does the past show us a clue?
Which way to the future, Yeoman?

I mean we certainly know where we are right now. Well, we should do. The 'now' bit is pretty clear. But what happens next? Is it so predictable?

I don't believe it is. And I believe the 'powers that be' have all made a very dramatic miscalculation. Oh, it's been pretty calculated all right. Don't worry about that. Let's do Illuminati stuff next post, though. But for this one, let's just look at where we are and consider things through the lenses of visionaries and creatives - because that is who will perceive things first.

Xeryus, and Margos

Do you ever wonder why things you do, in spite of your hardest efforts, don't succeed?

Okay so for sure you think you know everything - or have at least heard everything, if even in a roundabout way, by now, in late 2015.

Well, I mean to say, we have Wikipedia, Google Search - what more do we need?
The modern 'East' -
the Linx Nightclub in Shanghai

You have heard me say here on many occasions, there is an 'error repetition' problem with the human race. Someone - usually some academic - says something that is perfect nonsense, or based on no genuine facts, and then everyone simply just repeats it and pretty soon, it becomes the acknowledged fact. Except that it is wrong.

A great test of when something is wrong, is that it cannot function, or, it does not fulfill the function for which it was intended.

Three Wise Men -
who came from?
I have to tell you, so much even of what is presumed secret inner knowledge possessed by the enlightened few, contains critical errors that countervail against the 'knowledge' actually functioning properly

You know that big letter 'G,' inside the masonic symbol - yeah that one - well, it cannot stand for the Grand Architect of the Universe, because it is the third letter of the Greek Alphabet, and that would make it our 'C.' Not 'G.' The 'Crand' Architect? I don't think so.

Edward Snowden is quite right about encrypted information - and what he says applies and is true throughout all of past human history. It makes no sense, when you think about it, to have some scribe openly write something down that would have gotten them killed, when they could have written something in an encrypted form, to be understood only by the inner circles.

Now what I'm about to tell you is not speculation, and it is not surmise. It is fact.

As we approach the erstwhile Western cultural season of Christmas, we have this image of the Three Wise Men coming from the East, to venerate some important new king.

And it is entirely suitable to modern mythology, to have these people, whether actually three or otherwise it doesn't make a lot of difference in the context here - to have these people be Zoroastrian Magi. Zoroastrianism, as you know, is usually dated to at least 3,500 BC, and according to some ancient Greek writers, even to some implausible date of 6,000 years earlier!
Zoroastrianism - a religion of fairies and fire

Now - just bear with me here - San Marco Piazza, in Venice, is not named after any Saint Mark! Even though, once again, this error repetition thing is going on over the name. It is named after a small island and a bay, on which there is a 'mark' made of stones, that are supposed by local legend, to have been placed there by a god.

Again, in every learned place that talks of Egyptian priests, you will find this jamming up of words that are translated into English and seek to make verbal sense of glyphs and turn them into modern sentences. Now Plato writes that the Egyptians initially used the glyphs only as aids to memory, and not to language and sentences as we now assume, and that because of our modern tendency, 'errors' have crept in and are repeated to us by supposedly learned people. He said that back more than two thousand years ago.

So what if I told you, the 'Magi' who came from 'the East,' were 'Hemarchi' (sacred keepers of stones) - or in other words 'Ma-aci' or 'Ma-achi' (long sound 'a'). And that they came from the West, as, in fact it actually says, in the original texts that: 'they returned by another way...' So where did they come from, the East, or the West?

San Marco Piazza is a place dedicated to these religious agents of an ancient god. And, in it you will easily see the supernatural creature with the body of a lion and the wings of an eagle. You will also see in some of them, a snake held or trampled under a paw. So, this is Egyptian symbology.

But also, let us look at the Bright Star that guided the Wise Men. Xeryus - our Sirius - aka the Dog Star, or as it is in fact specifically known: 'the Bright Star.'

Now you might wonder, well what has all of this to do with today, today, when I need to make some money, like - now!
'I wish you a Merry Christmas...'

Wise Men brings gifts including gold, you know.

And these Egyptian 'priests' you hear the media go on about - they're doing it now in the BBC, talking about this supposed crypt of Tutankhamen, in which some newly-discovered chamber has been located - these 'priests'  ('hiereus') were bureaucrats, protectors of the original glyphs made in very ancient times. They were not priests, the word for which is 'Hem' or 'Hemet' for the female of.

'So it is written, let all the readers of this blog have lots of extra money this Christmas. So let it be done.'

And believe me, this blog-post is not going to be staying up for very long, because these things are secrets!!!!

Another thing, badly mistranslated in the Bible - 'you have to have faith.' Well it doesn't actually say that; what it says is - 'what is the underlying basis for such a thing to happen?' 'Faith' = 'underlying basis.' As in 'you do not possess the underlying basis to make such a thing happen.'

An eminently more functional concept.

Now. Do you want the underlying basis to have extra cash this Christmas? Or do you want faith. It's a question, isn't it.

Florentine Design

Recently, Ed Snowden was interviewed by Neil Tyson and asked what he thought about aliens communicating to Earth - and young Ed suggested that one reason why we don't 'see' any such communications is that they might be too heavily encrypted...
A Florentine 'sword' - the Espada

...too heavily encrypted for our tiny little minds, Kyle.

Did you notice that Erdogan of Turkey, just warned Putin not to 'play with fire?'

Music is data and information, and it is
heavily 'encrypted' too, in a way

I'm afraid that message by Erdogan was far too heavily encrypted for me.

To me, it sounded like he just said - 'hey, I don't care if you do bring on World War III...'

Okay so let's start to steer away from all the dumb stuff now, and begin to move into the 'upper realms' of intelligent species and what they do and how they think.

Florence was part of these waves of classical resurgent societies which appear on the planet at intervals.
Beef steak Florentine - charred in chestnut embers,
and hinting of grilled lemons, black pepper, rosemary,
olive oil, salt

Florence has left us with a legacy of design ideas and philosophy. Florence has left us with some outstanding food - ornate but still down-to-earth at heart, and yet always with light hints that bespeak the Florentine elegance and sophistication.

Legacy is an important word on this planet, albeit a word that few understand the importance of.

Syd Mead, the great futurist does. He understands 'legacy.' A clever legacy can enter the future.

Legacy is where the past and the future join.

Not 'the present,' or 'today' - which is where the poor academic thinkers say the future joins with the past. No; for legacy is always handed backwards from the future - a difficult concept to understand. If a legacy is not understood by the future, it will never be a legacy in fact.

People assume a legacy is what a dead person hands on to a future generation.
Olivia Wilde, as Quorra in Syd Mead's 'Tron Legacy.'
Quorra's love interest was 'Sam.' But do you 'ship Qourra-Sam-i?'

A legacy is what is understood by the future, as something which is a valuable inheritance.

Too many modern people are trapped by their overwhelming egos and the arrogance that is instilled in them - and they think they are important, and that they will 'leave a legacy.' A legacy is only a legacy if it is something that can be used by people of the future.

Nobody will recall this generation, in the future.
