I am literally going and getting out the small bottle of classic Russian Leather that I have. And spraying a little of that in the air and on my skin to match with the aroma of the Ringland red wine.
This is a men's perfume. And it is a man's wine.
Yeah yeah maybe women can take a glass of it, and maybe they can even don the Stygian robe of 'Russian Leather' but heck, what kind of woman are we talking here?!!
Nah but this is man's stuff.
Well how actually good is this stuff? It kicks so-called 'classic French wines' into the weeds, dude! They don't even come close.
A 'man' is someone who says 'to heck with it all.' And 'I am doing what I am doing and that's that about it.'
But - 'I am doing it with class and with style.' And that's the other aspect of all of this.
Yesterday the Greeks celebrated Mary's birthday. It isn't Mary's birthday...

This is a thing which can be looked at through the wine expertise metaphor.
Yes you can 'learn' to use jargon when speaking about wine, and you can do that in complete conformity to people who have grabbed the platform when it comes to all matters of the vine and of bottles and cellars and so on.
And those other people will have usurped your own role inside of yourself - which is the one to do with who decides what you like and what you enjoy.
Of course, in Singapore you are told what you can 'enjoy...'
The whole direction of tyrannical forces, is to disallow the individual any personal rights, and only permit them to have highly-controlled access to personal enjoyments.
The individual cannot be responsible as the agent of their own affairs. According to any tyrannical rule.
The logical problem with this however, is the uncertainty over whether the 'ruling' agent genuinely possesses any sound knowledge - or is simply lording it over everyone else and mixing arrogance with ignorance alongside a constant threat of violence in order to assert their will.
But you cannot live another person's life for them... And therefore you are the expert of the experiences that you have - for instance - drinking various wines.
A new 'Golden Age' is a time in the future; it is not now. We are definitely not living in a Golden Age right now.
There's not much point if you desire to maintain a personal right to validate your own experiences - but then hand over the power to make such decisions, to a panel of wine judges, for example!
The recent European movie 'Perfumes' shows us the situation of one authentic expert of fragrances, who suffered a bout of anosmia, but was able to use their advanced technical knowledge to fabricate to others that they were still able to smell perfumes.
What's the guarantee that you have, that some third party who is said to be 'an expert' has all of their sense faculties intact at all times?
The truth is, the real expert of wine, is you yourself, since you are the one who must end up knowing which wine you really enjoy.
And you are an expert if you know what wine you love.
When looking at the future for human society, it is you that must know what is entirely good for you and it is you that must be able to say what kind of society will provide the human social ingredients that will fit with your nature.
But then, there is also the question of being able to discern what will be good for your inner being - and from that foresight apply determination and strength to mold your own character so as it can meet the standards of what is necessary to be a unit part of some truly elevated form of society.
To hold such 'prospectives' in one's mind, it is necessary to have creativity, vision, imagination - in short, the ability to see things that have not (yet) been; rather than merely to have second-hand visions and to always only adopt the ideas of others.
In the Timaeus of Plato, details of a 'strange story but true,' contain much opaque language mostly intended not to give offense to uneducated ears, especially regarding the transition of planetary objects seen from the Earth-bound person's perspective.
(This is a very complex text, and modern understanding of it is not helped by the problematic translations made in times when we did not have anywhere near the technical advancements that we do today).
...But thus we must not confuse the narrator's account which is designed to reference human seminal perception of the passage of time as it is taken from the apparent movement of the stars, with either the narrator's actual understanding or that of Plato himself. The related passages themselves begin with the statement that 'God made it appear' (so that Manwould witness a daily/nightly movement symbolic of the passage of time)and then also -, 'but these forms which seem to move faster than the others in fact are taken over by the others in reality' (thus showing us the reader, that he well understands the difference between simplistic appearance and actual celestial motion of distant objects separated by very great distances of depth between 'near' and 'far' from us and our eyes).
This text is highly unusual when considered using the most modern of mindsets that we can appropriate, since some of the text could be interpreted to say or to suggest that this version of material and even of metaphysical reality as set out in the text includes ET Alien beings as what the terminology says is 'the third tribe of creatures in the Universe, without the existence of which the Universe itself would not be complete.' These are the actual words employed; that is, the English translation of the words and phrases.
The narrator in the text (who is not Plato himself, but the highly-placed political figure Critias, who is about to embark upon his account of his relative's story about Atlantis, as learned from priests in a cultic establishment in Egypt) - first in this text (IE Timaeus) lays out the three 'tribes' of creatures as being 1. humans, then 2. animals made by the strata of gods who are only the children of some unique Supreme Being, and then 3. beings who are either the residents of very advanced virtually perfect civilizations located in (near to/around) various stars plus humans who 'graduate' to there.
The strata of gods are un-created and Eternal, being simply 'engendered' somehow directly from the Unique Supreme Being.
There have been, down through the centuries, secretive sects devoted to deeper understandings of the particular texts in question, and in these sects or cults, they extend Plato's own concept of the 'therapeutic lie' to this specific text the Timaeus - due to the fact that were it to be thought widely for example, that the 'soul' of a human, were an actual physically witnessed object, then inquisitive but rash people might go literally digging into human flesh and bone and brain (which of course some did do in the Dark Ages and even long into the Middle Ages of Western progress) to find it!
Thus the text says the 'soul' part of a human is 'invisible.' But then goes on to describe it anyway - and at a point makes mention, just as the Book of Revelation does in the Christian Bible, that certain places in very remote and distant 'cities' have a glow and a light emanating both from within the city itself as well as from its inhabitants - and it is this light that allows people to see there, rather than a resident 'sun.'
Of course, most people today think they are very advanced...
To cut a long story short, effectively Plato says that there are Aliens, meaning ET beings, and that these must of a kind of a 'Cosmic necessity,' be highly advanced.
And he says that in a number of places not just in the Timaeus where he does so via the mouth of its general narrator, who is one 'Critias,' whom all scholars and historians say is the same as the historical pro-Spartan, Athenian statesmen and eventual oligarch, Critias.
But if there are Aliens, ET Aliens -, and they are very highly advanced, then presumably their food and drink would also be equivalently much more sophisticated than what we are used to here on our own planet Earth -, for the moment, at least.
You might be one of the many 'richest people on the planet' and you will naturally believe yourself to be well-schooled in knowledge about wines, the great wines, the expensive wines, the best wines.
You know nothing.

You may, or you may not - know that a certain very ancient tradition endures down to this very day, in Santorini, which relates to the clothing of the Atlanteans.

Tourists travel there nowadays and photograph themselves on top of hills, wearing those dresses whose skirts are extremely long and flowing, and billow like sails in the breezes.
The dresses themselves are quite expensive and there is in fact a small industry which thrives on merely renting the dresses to those who wish to be photographed wearing them.
What you may also not know is that the actual ancient beliefs about the people of Atlantis was that they called their destruction upon themselves, during these late night gatherings, because the basis of their prayer was that the gods should destroy their society and Empire, should any of their rulers ever depart from the standards handed down to them by their father.
Additionally, another aspect is that their attire was never meant only for women as a glamorous colorful thing, but their whole society was evenly divided between male and female - so much so that they had erected figures of male figures and female figures to represent the gods, whom they regarded as having utterly evenly-shared roles and power.
Another and a more important point, is that it was never intended that the Atlantean people should disappear completely, and in fact there are classical Greek texts which lay down some of the names of those families who survived.

Interestingly, many of these families make up the traditional founder families of the Republic of Venice - who also 'voted themselves out of existence on a single night' when Napoleon entered their city-state.
The self-destruction, or apparent self-destruction of otherworldly identities is of course contained in the Christian story, but again, this is another story whose underlying intentions and future expectations are not at all described in the modern narratives.
For example, there is the famous scene in which the main figure states that He will not ever again drink from the fruit of the vine, until He drinks again with all of his friends...
But that is not exactly, not precisely, what the text wording in its original Greek actual says.
It says: "I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until I drink it 'kainon...' with you all again when the Kingdom of my Father (again this appealing to some divine ancestry) comes."
Kainon does not mean 'new' as in the simplistic way most of the translations say 'new wine;' it means novel, and unprecedented.
Unlike the moral lesson implication of the destruction of Atlantis, in which the events were on account of the bad behavior of its rulers, the religious wine rite story is to do with something new and good -, but so good that it is unprecedentedly good!
There are Atlanteans still around in the world that you know today. These individuals are well-aware of the destruction of humans which is made inevitable in certain circumstances.
But they are also well-aware of the moral lesson implications of the benevolently new and unprecedented - because that was the whole point of calling down the intervention of the gods onto their own society when it had turned away from its previous - as Plato calls it - noble nature.
What became of the Venetians who 'disappeared' themselves as rulers of their own state during the time of Napoleon? They had committed no crime on their own account and were merely choosing to hide themselves from the violence of Napoleon and the spirit of the age that he brought with him. Unlike in the tragedy of Atlantis they were not at all 'wiped out' as such.

It is wise to 'disappear' from injustice and violence but certainly, it is not always easy a thing to do.
As the world proceeds towards a very full and final destruction, perhaps it may be that those who have long endured all of the vicissitudes of human history, will 'evidence themselves' to some...
