'...And gathers the fruit and eats of the Tree of Life.'
We all know the whole passage and the whole story.
Except not really.
I am going to get to a totally practical answer here, so (try and! ...lol; I do go on, I know) bear with the pre-explanations.

But can you imagine what trouble we would be making, if we just blurted out things and then all of a sudden as the result - lots of people who read it were having miraculous instantaneous cures, or 'flying off the ground' or whatever!!
When I consider all the wonderful food around the world, all the amazing and different tastes and sensations -, I am not willing to say that there is just this one special, 'fruit,' from this one particular 'tree' from which either there can be eaten 'the Fruit of Life' or the 'Golden Apples of Perpetual Rejuvenation of Idunn' in the Norse narratives.
This would be an extremely simplistic 'answer' and really, it is no answer at all - not in any practical sense.
Today, we are modern people, with modern ideas and lots of science.
So when we look back at all of the ancient accounts - the first thing that ought to strike you is how like some story of an enclosed laboratory setting, in which experiments in life, were going on under the hands of far more advanced people (than the early human race) the whole thing reads.
In the very first place though, it is not clear to me that Genesis is telling either the full story, or the right story - but even so, it contains sufficient key elements that one can quite easily link up straight away, to various other accounts from what would seem to be, different ethnic groups. Except they are not, of course. They are all linked in reality - modern genetic testing has clearly demonstrated that indeed, even the 'blonde-haired, blue-eyed' Norse people, are literally from the Ancient Anatolian peoples. ...And this is actually what the Norse ancient literature even says anyway! 'Aesir' and 'Vanir' are quite literally places in Turkey - and they were always called those names.
But I want to underscore that I am not going to say all of this is just about 'Earth' things - and that all of it is some kind of weird twisting up of ordinary natural phenomena into spiritual and metaphysical ideas.
What I am going to say is there is a crystal clear combination going on, of 'Earth-bound' physical things, and completely not Earth-bound things - all going on at the same time, in tandem.

Shirley MacLaine, on page 59 of her excellent hardback book 'Going Within' relates how it became almost like a chore for her, shortly after discovering seriously amazing methods of 'meditating' (she starts off calling it that) - until she realized that there was an absolutely essential, a necessary balance that was required between the hard physical body aspects of ordinary daily normal life, and the deep mind techniques she was doing.
Don't forget, she was a really athletic, strong live-performances dancer as well as movie star. So to some extent, it was easy enough to make the connection between what things your natural body likes, and likes to do and to live along the daily lines of, and anything else that might be going on in the 'enclosed upper rooms' of one's head, so to speak.
I am struggling a bit in this article, to not just jump around all over the place, but I have to do to it a little, because once you get the basics down, then you will more easily 'see' the real point, or main points, that we are heading off for.
In the Norse narrative - it is the Jotun (cognate with 'Titan') Thjazi, who abducts Idunn and steals from her the Golden Apples.
Now I believe - on account of that I know anyway, but also because so many of these ancient ethnic groups lisped their 's' letters - that 'Thjazi' is cognate with 'Semjaza' or sometimes written 'Semjazi.'
And this is the shape-shifter, who appears in the Book of Genesis as the 'Serpent.'
In the Sanskrit, although Shiva does not allow the Asuras (also the same things as 'Demons,' or the Jotun or the Titans or the 'Giants of Old') to eat the 'Amrta' (Ambrosia) that they helped to actually make from churning the Universe together with Shiva (He doesn't let them because He knows they will end up destroying the Universe itself over Endless Time and everything in it), he stills allows some of them to enter the state of pure Immortality and those do get to eat this Ambrosia or Nectar of Eternal Life.

Again (leaping all about!) many of the Jotun associated with Thjazi, are connected to the planet Saturn - and all of them, have 'gold in their mouths' because their ancient father (Saturn) when he was dying, gave his sons all his gold (and he had vast amounts of it) by getting them to 'eat a portion each' of his gold horde. Today, the Norse languages have a saying about good speakers and so on having the 'mouth of the Jotun's gold.'
So - Jotuns, most of them, can and do die.
The Asuras can and do, most of them, die.
Demons are destroyed. Et cetera.
What we know as modern people, as scientists ourselves, is that methyl group structural units, are parts of molecules, whose specific role in genes, is to cause some genes to be expressed by not 'blocking' them, and to switch off others, depending on how those structural units attach to parts of genes as selective 'chemical tags.'
'Idunn' is clearly a gene scientist - or even let's say a 'departmental group of them' - whose job was to regulate the lifespans of whatever organisms these guys were working on here.
Well - it's 'clear' if we adopt our current modern perspective of gene science on things as the lens through which to look at the ancient story, 'pretending,' as Mauro Biglino always says, that we think the story is true on some level; for the purpose of understanding it using the benefit of current better knowledge of physics, chemistry, and biology, compared to how people could only have understood things in the past.

Well I have to go old, because there's nothing new that is any good!
Jumping back again to MacLaine - we can extend and optimize our existing human bodies, by using targeted methylation: this is accommodated through eating lots of B-group vitamins, green leafy vegetables that contain real folate (B9) and not the synthetic 'folic acid' which achieves nothing at all, really; also liver, broccolini -.
But - or better said - and, there is an entirely different sort of energetic body, which you can go into, which is still perfectly individual and personal, which does not age at all; and this can go into a material physical body, but generally one that is highly technically-screened, and monitored, and then re-engineered and 'rejuvenated' continuously in much more highly technically advanced environments than what obtains to humans today in this Earth world.
So but what this really means - implies - is that virtually everything you do here and now, impacts on your inner energetic integrity and internal energy structural integrity.
So MacLaine is quite right - you need to preserve that balance between some 'higher plane' thing, and who you are within the human body here and now. That 'balance' is the existential reality that you are who you are, and right now, as far as you know, you are here and in your own human body and not anywhere else theoretical or actual.
Like I said, can you even imagine what disastrous consequences would ensue if we just outright said here: 'Oh look, just do this, or eat this or that' and then all of a sudden a bunch of incredible miraculous effects were happening to people!

I mean it's not quite right 'there is nothing new' that is any good. There is this toy.
What I mean is yeah there is an 'Ambrosia' thing, and you can eat it, and you can touch it and taste it and everything - except it is only in the integral subtle energy body that you can do that.
However you already know, because we talked about it briefly, that Homer depicted these nine (I think it was nine...) Nymphs of the Eternal Waters Spring in that supernatural 'Cave' (which was your mind), and that they stored nectar and honey in there...
...And that it was outside of that Cave, that the mysterious bluish-grey skinned 'Phaeacians' left Odysseus, after they had brought him there in their flying ships -.
So. There is a nexus point - a place of embarkation and disembarkation right between this material Earth world, and the other 'Phaeacian' world (or world of those people; where they really came from) shrouded in mists (as Homer said); because the island they possessed here on Earth, was shrouded in mists from humans.
'Store up for yourself, in those places where nothing that can destroy them, can go - your real wealth.'
But make no mistake - this is not about some 'non-existent' place. And the Phaeacians are not some mythical, non-existent people.
Just like that we have seen the story of Aladdin ibn Mustafa (that was his full name), is not a myth at all! The place with uncountable treasures is in Travancore, South India.
Yes there is one 'simple,' very delicious actual food thing called 'Ambrosia' and the Aesir and Phi-aeacia'ns (got it?) have it and you can have it too, and you can eat it, but right now you are living here, and there is also Vitamin B9 and that is important enough as it is.

To be absolutely honest with you, I find humans are difficult to love.
The thing that all of these guests on KMoo - not so much Bledsoe himself and not so much even Kory because she alludes to it all the time - don't say is 'if you do not love, you cannot see.'
People, religious people, say all the time 'we love God.'
Really?
How? You've never seen that Being, or any Being like that, that you could touch and hold and like what all humans want to do, cling onto it.
People see their dead pets all the time.
Who is this 'God' that people talk about all the time?
Is it some kind of stranger, is it?
