And, I definitely recommend a new Blog by one of our regulars here. This one:
Believe me, if you thought here was difficult wading, this new one is quite 'high brow' I would say but worth it because it more accurately deals with some of the ancient literary sources.
In other words it's a better, more authentic resource on some of the relevant material. Here we go a bit silly often.
I feel very free to completely misquote people and whole passages and even add stuff that isn't in any modern retained texts...
LOL
Can't say why I do that.
Anyway, why will you be richer:
Because all or most of you have a really good quality, ornately-bound journal, right?
And you will have gone to your local friendly obliging Post Office to get them to date-stamp the opening page...
And then, you will write neatly on top of that page 'Silver Guild Associate's Journal.'
And although it will not be possible to actually fix, attach, to the journal, an ounce of Silver - bullion bar or coin - nevertheless you will find a way to create such a 'tie' to the actual individual specific journal, and also acquire one other (or even more depending on so many things in life) ounce of Silver, which will be to contribute at some unknown time in some theoretical future, to a fund that is designed to buy-back your journals at ridiculously high prices.
And thus, you will possess something of real and meaningful future value, to hand down as a legacy to your future generations.
As things stand right now, the LBMA has run out of Silver altogether and has no realistic means to purchase any in the quantities that would be required, if it were to make up for the supply needs of the US Government in its desire to manufacture Tomahawk Missiles and also small movable nuclear power plants.
Who can really say, what the future prices of Gold or Silver or Platinum might reach -, somewhere up in the clouds there if you extended the wall chart to where the likely region of its realistic honest price-discovery level should be.
...And what would one write in these journals?
Whatever you might see fit to. Anything the Elves of Silver might inspire you so to write.
All the 'Fantasy World' Gen Z - Gen Alpha people would surely be entranced to know, that indeed, there are such things as 'Silver Gild' wizards and alchemists, and I for one would not in any way feel constrained to write in there about 'market data' and the opinions of expert Wall Street Fund Managers (on account that I at least, personally think there are no such things; whereas I certainly know there are Silver Elves...).
Happy would be some child, in some un-determined future, who received into their little hands, a book filled with the scribblings of thee and thou and me and those, and more to the point, whose actual value was much more than the average diary pored over by the experts at Antiques Roadshow.
And whose foundation moneys still existed - as is the case with many brands of Swiss Watch of course, where they set a price by buying their own things back higher than they were originally found for.

| Certainly one of the taller Elves I would say, but an Elf nonetheless -, for Balenciaga, Christmas 2025. |
...Meanwhile, the LBMA must hunt around for Silver and Gold to replenish their as yet entirely non-existential 'holdings' upon which they have set themselves up as the 'Gold and Silver' bankers to the world.
Whereas, in fact and really - it is you and me.
Mind-boggling lyrics:
