I am about to give you the key to the Door of Heaven...
In the Vedic traditions, the stealer of fire from the Gods is Paramathisvan, and in the Ancient Greek accounts, it is Prometheus.
Although there are successive narratives about the bad consequences of this act, there is another tradition attributable to Plato, that this Titan (who never fought against the Olympians in the Titanomachy), felt sorry for the humans, since they had been given no natural gifts and were 'naked' in the world - and so his act which was albeit a thing done surreptitiously, can hardly have been regarded entirely by those particular Gods who themselves 'tilted the scales' in favor of certain humans they preferred, although not all by any means -, as evil.
Additionally, Plato even makes Prometheus literally the designer of Mankind, although he calls him 'Ithax' in this context.
But here when we look at the idea of a Titan God actually designing humans, it begs the question well but does that mean humans are different to other intelligent beings, such as, say, the Gods themselves?
Well it does because although they are visually similar (yes they are because Helen was regarded as the actual human counterpart and copy of Aphrodite), they do not last and have blood, not ichor, which is the fluid within the bodies of the Gods.
Humans are not completely visually dissimilar then, to the Gods.
They can be far less similar, during certain phases in human history, since they are able to become 'generic' and not individual.
The sub-text of both what Plato says, and what Jesus also says, is that humans are able to overcome their normally degenerating state, by - in the case of Prometheus' solution - using the Divine Fire; and in the case of Jesus somehow finding something to do with 'water and the Spirit.'
I'm not sure whether Jesus means it is possible to douse the over-active dynamic Fire of the Gods with ordinary plain water, or whether He is trying to suggest something else entirely - but I do think He is using the Divine Fire and the Spirit interchangeably. Dr Ammon points out to us in any case, that 'water' is not the word being used in the original texts - it is more like 'moisture...'
You did not steal the Fire. You just have it now.
And the Father of the Gods and Men did not take it back away from you.
In fact, it is the only way you can enter into the company of the Gods and be accepted by them, if warily.
This 'Fire' is attested in all of the Ancient Narratives as being the source of Creativity.
Plato gives a variation of this in his Symposium, where humans are said, by one of the speakers - if they love - to be the grandchildren of Poverty and Plenty and have only the great inventiveness of their father, with which to make their way through the Maze of Love to the Divine Rewards.

When you seek to do good, and use your power - that is, Divine Creativity - to achieve your goals, then if you offer these acts to the Council of the Gods, they will be accepted and your presence near them will be entertained by them.
But you have to be diplomatic, of course, and not just go crashing into some elevated place throwing your weight around and saying impolite things and being disrespectful... He he he he he.
You know what I mean.
Poor, alone, naked in the world, you cannot attain that Barbie Pink McLaren sports car for that little girl and her father.
...Oh but yes you can though.
You possess such a power.
And you must be careful because human people getting things is not always necessarily so good for them, but for kids it always is. Because they do not look at acquisitions the same way that adults do.
The Kingdom of Heaven is of as such as these (the children; the child's mind).
Zelensky is not a child - which is why his behavior is not appropriate.
What might be understandable from a child, although not necessarily 'appropriate' either, is not understandable from a rational adult person.
But I digress.
Back to the point is that you have the key.
In my dream last night I was on the phone with you, Calvin, and I was saying something like we humans have the means to solve our problems (I was thinking bodily or psychiatric ones specific to each of us in this example), we just don't know it because the people in power don't want us to know that we can. At first you protested, but then said oh actually that's right, it's here in this book, and you sent me a large book with answers. And it was also something to do with a gone missing fifth adagio or fifth scale or something. Anyway, I'm not even sure which problem I can or am supposed to solve with Divine Creativity. My thought was, what can I do, I have nothing! Any problems you have in mind?
ReplyDeleteYes. (Firstly though, on the thing about 'fifth scales' - the solution for humans is the Ionian Mode). There is so much more entailed with that pic above of the Pink Barbie Mclaren. This thing in RL is just such a 'peak design' exposition. It's utterly brilliant. A young child might have a longing for such a thing, but then, there are a number of very wealthy celebrity females who HAVE them, or such kinds of things at least. What happens to the ADULT human - if they get these things? Can it be okay for them? In context of a world riven with deprivation... 'Having nothing' is literally the best place to be. This puts you in the condition of the God of Love Himself. He has nothing. No material wealth. My problem is I know that He can HAVE ANYTHING. We have to think this through. We must find a pathway of consequences for Him, which do not lead Him to disaster. That is the question to address.
DeleteI think in the context of deprivation it is dangerous to get things because the pendulum can swing the other way and one may go down the path of excess. I know this from personal experience. I imagine kind of like how the people from the space station went hog wild on orange juice when they came down here. Maybe He should have already learned the lesson of moderation (and that it's ultimately not about things but about the people and relationships) before he's allowed to get things.
DeleteHey you said the God of Love, I just remembered I wanted to ask you. In the Symposium my reading was that Diotima says that Love is not a god since Love is in desire of things good and fair and so is not a possessor of them, and so he cannot be a god as the gods must be good and fair. She says Love is a great spirit in a mean between the divine and mortal, between the fair and foul. But my feeling is that Love is a god. Is He?
DeleteWell Love is this figure 'Jesus Christ.' He MUST therefore die and be resurrected - He is, whilst in the human mortal world, as Socrates says, 'half-way between God and Man.' In a state of becoming, as all humans are; some towards the actual Divine Estate and the rest who will fall back to the Earth, maybe to be re-born, who knows for certain. Humans have Love (those that do, and animals have it too...), and therefore they CAN become something higher, just as is the character of that Force (Love) itself - which is forever moving towards the Truly Divine and finally attaining it. Love is the cause of Life and is therefore forever in a state of 'becoming;' it is dynamic and ALIVE. 'Love' is a demigod which becomes a God when it turns into Divine Joy (that's in the Bible by the way). 'Xoi' or 'Zoe.'
DeleteThanks for this key. Reality is changing. We need to call ourselves ... Softer densities are restored.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget, when the young man Enoch (Seventh from Adam) was selected by the Council of the Elohim, it was because he had recognized that the human race had become 'hard' and spoke 'hard words' (that's his own description of the situation). And then when the Council removed him from mortality and from the Earth-bound human race, it was to show the world (of the humans) that they themselves were NOT hard. And therein lies a certain clue...
