Some Generous Superstars At Home

I guess there won't be that many of you here who are necessarily familiar with the superstar names of 'Paul Van Dyk' or 'Aruna.' Maybe some of you will certainly know 'Melanie C' from the Spice Girls, and I guess everyone will have heard of Sharon Stone.

Well these people have been doing free live concerts and interviews on-line - live-streamed onto YouTube - on the weekends for everyone stuck at home or inside somewhere during the virus 'shutdown/lock-down.'
Singer - Aruna

In the case of Paul Van Dyk and Aruna these are simply the biggest superstars on the European music scene. Paul Van Dyk has been doing extended live-streamed gigs from his own home in Berlin - for hours and hours on end.

Katy Perry gave a fully staged free concert for the Australian bush-fire affected communities here in Australia just literally days before the shut-down.

And Stone was interviewed live-streamed straight from her lounge at home, with Naomi Campbell doing the interview. Probably the most surprising thing for me personally, was how absolutely down-to-earth, intelligent and really nice Campbell was.
Sharon Stone has been running fundraisers for medical charities involved in viral research and a LOT of other areas related to this particular pandemic situation.

So, this is a shout-out to those sorts of people everywhere who gave their time straight away without asking anything at all. From what I understand in every one of these particular above-mentioned instances, the people involved have been doing a lot more besides that they don't seek publicity over; so I'm putting it out there that they haven't 'just' been giving of their time alone.
Modern era musical legend and frankly, genius - Paul Van Dyk

Paul Van Dyk's home concerts are going to be revered over time as today's equivalent - for the cognoscenti of his type of music - of the Abbey Road sessions.

  2. He he. Yep - oil racket is also being 'generous' by handing out 40 bucks with every barrel of raw crude you take away and do something with. Raw crude degenerates in storage as you well know, and it must be refined otherwise it is next to useless stuff. Minimum contract size for ACTUAL delivery is I forget - 7,000 barrels or 70,000 barrels; one of those... So that's a lot of '40 dollars's' but hell, it also tells us how much of a problem with economic devastation we have right now.
