Unusual Phrasing

The recently made public indictments by the Grand Jury (wow, that sounds amazing...) selected by the Mueller Special Counsel's Office, of the Republican political operative Roger Stone, contains the phrase 'friend in the Embassy' and implies in those indictments due to the following-on logic regarding the contents of Wikileaks' release of Hillary Clinton and John Podesta emails - that this 'friend in the Embassy' means Julian Assange.

Now, in context of present circumstances 'friend on the Embassy grounds' or 'property' or 'friend residing in the Embassy' probably does mean Julian Assange - however the shady phrase 'our friend at the Embassy' or a 'friend in the Embassy' is code for 'a friend in the Embassy...'
Which Embassy? The Russian Embassy?
Why should we assume the Ecuadorian Embassy...?

And this has a very specific meaning in the world of diplomatic multi-speak: it means a designated individual person, authorized to convey very strategic information from the very top of an outside country or from so close to that top that it has a lot of authoritative meaning and power, and might be true when other people don't want it (the information) to be. It certainly does not mean Julian Assange; because in the first place Julian Assange was not ever and is not the actual source of any true information, he was the overseer and virtual editor of other people's information-gathering. He was in no position to say for sure whether or not something really was true, only that he believed the way something was sourced was reliable and therefore what it yielded was likely to be true.

Nobody ever disputed that the emails containing details exposing some particular Podesta individual to possible distasteful child sex activities, or Hillary Clinton to massive rampaging fraud and criminal corruption, were in any way other than absolutely accurate and true extracts or actual archived files. The whole entire proposition from the very start even with respect to simple social media rumor at the time, was that somehow the (Russian government) FSB possessed real and totally accurate and complete details of goings-on inside the Obama/Clinton Administration and the DNC - and that it was material to be relied upon because it had the sanction of the Kremlin, really. That is certainly how it was pumped in the media by people like Roger Stone.
See this is code...

It's possible that Robert Mueller wants to imply that Julian Assange is a Russian agent and operative. Of course that would never fly on account of the extensive 'handling' files in the CIA... LOL

And I am telling you and you might as well take it as coming from a friend somewhere not a hundred miles from Langley Virginia, too.

The Grand Jury is composed of 23 people, 12 of whom are required to accept that there is an allowable basis for the Special Counsel to make an accusation in the form of a legal indictment.

So Roger Stone has been accused in a legal form, of lying about his relationship to someone - 'a friend in the Embassy' (literally the phrase used in the indictment) - who was going to confirm certain details rumored to exist in email archive files of communications from Hillary Clinton, and John Podesta, among others.

Robert Mueller's 'investigation' is going nowhere. And that has become very clear.
