Defining Luxury Properly

Some prominent branding specialists, as well as major news media and up-scale magazines, are constantly talking these days about what the 'Millenial consumer' is doing to the definition of luxury.

An opening statement in this declaration seems to be that 'the days of luxury being synonymous with wealth are over.'

Really? Really, Fortune Magazine? Do you believe this? No wonder all you guys are going to the wall or having your wings clipped 'bigly.'
'Luxury' is the unique place in the barren desert...

Today's branding specialists and marketing people all the same focus around some fairly standard and tradition concepts about what 'luxury' has meant down the centuries. The word itself is much older than most authorities generally say - the Romans had a word 'luxus' which meant excess and self-indulgence. Most present-day authorities like to mention that there was a Middle English word taken from Old French and which meant 'lust' or 'lechery,' the strong implication there being that it has its actual roots in a Western European pagan deity - 'Lugh.'

Modern marketeers make the mistake of adding the idea that today's idea of 'luxury' includes 'authentic craftsmanship.' Well the problem with this is that you can be an authentic craftsman of the synthesizing chemical laboratory but never will you duplicate the actual scent of an actual taif rose.
This is a real place, this is the Liwa Oasis in Abu Dhabi

No. Luxury is a personal thing - it identifies and defines the person as they truly are. It denotes a kind of self-indulgence but on a stratospheric level, not an Earth-bound, limited, needs-based level. And it certainly is about wealth.

The most intensely bespoke thing there is, is the personal individual ego and central consciousness of the particular individual human being. People are very complicated - they have broadly shared qualities and characteristic 'human' similarities, yet they are each completely unique. And uniqueness separates people, it doesn't bring them together. That is, it doesn't bring very large numbers together, but it creates categories and specializations that exist in hierarchies which ascend to the peaks where 'the best' of each category exists, either as a tiny capstone group-let, or even as a single person who defines the actual sole epitome; the perfect example.
This is luxury - all natural, the 'Liwa' from the Velvet Collection by Ali Al Jaberi
of Widian Corporation

'Luxury' means the best... But the best thing for you the individual, not 'the best thing' that might be shared with a whole lot of other people.

Huge Changes

Debenhams announced a huge loss for the year to September, 2018 - virtually a billion dollars ('loss').

Now this is pertinent to what we have been pointing to for the last two years at least: that there has been a major and noticeable decline in the marketplace for all the 'high end' consumer products, and luxury products and luxury brands. This public company's disclosure of such a huge loss really is one verification of what we had been suggesting from anecdotal evidence.

On the one hand it appears as if write-downs of goodwill and IT and 'stores' (what does that mean? Does it mean capital value, as in property value? I don't know...) dominate the 'loss' figure and other than these write-downs there is a trading profit.
This was called, at the time 'the revenge dress.'
Is it blue, or is it black, by the way?

But wait a minute - we are talking a 1% (wh-a-a-t?!) profitability on a turnover of 3 billion pounds! That already sounds like a fudged figure, or at least 'sharp' accounting to get things 'over the line' and 'into the black.'

You would think that with such low interest rates in the Western World big corporates could 'engineer' something better than this kind of unmitigated disaster.

So what's going on? Is it 'the on-line world' doing it?

No, I don't believe that. It is the relentless and utterly mindless drawing off of the domestic circulation of cash money (velocity/circulation) caused by the errant ideology of 'austerity.'

And we are going to hit a lot of brick walls and they are going to take politicians, governments, and whole societies into the grave.

A drop of dew on a rose petal can kill you, and at least that is a romantic way to go, compared to a lot of others that get the press's attention these days... This is the way the gods act, you know - 'whom they wish to destroy they first make mad.'
This Givenchy thing, well, there were two of them,
and two of them are in the museums today...
But I think there were three of them, and one was not black satin, but midnight blue sheared velvet

There is something out there moving around beneath the surface and its hidden hand is manipulating things.

A single drop of dew...

Just remember I said that.

Diana, Dodi, Khashoggi

Well, I'm not entirely sure whether any of you need to be reminded that Jamal Khashoggi was a cousin of Dodi Fayed. The sister of Adnan Khashoggi, Samira - was married to Mohammed Al Fayed and was Dodi's mother.

Adnan Khashoggi was infamous - among other things - for telling a journalist that 'war is marketing...'

Mohammed Al Fayed is not aligned to either of the Muslim World League (Saudi Royal Family backed, officially), or the Muslim Brotherhood, which is partly backed by the Royal Family of Qatar among numerous others.
Qatari gold-covered cars, outside of Harrods

The Qataris bought Harrods from Al Fayed when he decided he could no longer stay in London and decided to retire to Switzerland.

Both sides of the fence of 'political Islam' like to patronize the Ritz Hotels, and as we all know, this has had its shadier aspects, with Diana having been murdered shortly after leaving the Paris Ritz, and Prince Al Waleed being holed up in the Riyadh Ritz Carlton 'coming to an agreed understanding' with whoever is pulling the strings in Saudi Arabia now, be it the supposed re-incarnation of Alexander the Great, as Mohammad Al Massari (Muslim Brotherhood) suggests, or up until this week, Saud Al Qahtani, his vizier.

The next thing worth pointing out, is that despite the incredible annual cash flows from oil revenues, Saudi Arabia has no urban sewerage system.... It's a pretty backward place - most of these places that look good in pictures or at night or from a distance, are different when you get there and are 'up close.'

I'll be able to stay away from this disturbing matter shortly, because as we have seen, Erdogan produced no audio recordings of anything (which doesn't mean to say there aren't any) and the White House is making all the kinds of noises that indicate the matter is more or less over.
Glenfiddich's whisky display at Harrods - don't why it's there,
the place is owned by ardent Muslims...

The Saudi ruling elite made quite a mistake not too long ago when, under pressure from the radical religious groups there, they decided to ask the Americans to take their military base out - which the Americans did - and the Qataris stepped in rapidly and have been putting the Saudi's noses out of joint ever since.

As I have said many many many times before in this Blog - one of the reasons I write it at all, is because it will save your life one day, when others around you assume the place they have drifted into, the people and the faces that surround them appear cultured, civilized and friendly, and you will know, and no one else will accept what you are saying: that you are in the midst of high danger and, just, well, get the hell out!

Jamal Khashoggi was such a well-spoken guy - the Washington Post wants to have it he even was a US permanent resident (he wasn't - and he didn't have a green card either) and a journalist.

You see, yes, journalism sells marketing - but war is marketing.

Nowadays, you step into some places you think are benign, public, even tourist-y places - and you are stepping into a war zone.
Sweden's richest industrialist, the ethnically Ethiopian
Mohammad Al-Amoudi

Sweden's richest man - Mohammad Al-Amoudi - was detained by Crown Prince Salman late last year and he was being 'negotiated' with over something or other. Al-Amoudi is a massive industrialist in Sweden and while Sweden and everyone is making a lot of noise about Julian Assange, they have not been having as much coverage given to them over trying to have Al-Amoudi released. I think he has been released not so long ago, and, like Al Waleed came to an 'agreed understanding' about which he is going to remain very quiet.

In any event, you might find that some of the street problems with migrants in Sweden have suddenly also been resolved overnight, no one knows how.

And anybody that thinks they know what actually happened in Las Vegas, October 1, 2017, is a dunce.

Anybody want me to publish a list of places not to go - or are you all good on that for now... LOL

Google Innovation Hubs

This is very important news. Recently Saud Al Qahtani opened FIVE NEW Google Innovation Hubs in Saudi Arabia, and also invested in Indian-based Google technology research centers.

Al-Qahtani is the guy who apparently was the 'main man' behind the recent abductions of the Prime Minister of Lebanon Saad Hariri, as well as a few hundred Saudis including playboy Saudi billionaire Al-Waleed whom he had holed up in the Ritz Carlton while subjecting Al-Waleed to a lie detector. A couple of others there were not so lucky, as they - according to several 'informed-though-dissident-sources' - died from torture; certainly these have not been seen since they were detained.
Saud Al-Qahtani: 'Bring me the head of the dog!'

Al-Qahtani is also to be heard on this reputed Skype recording that the Turkish government claims to have, in which he says: 'bring me the head of the dog.'

Following which they, brought him the head of Jamal Khashoggi... Apparently.

New, re-branded Saudi Arabia -
a positive step forward into the modern era and away from
the medieval
But you have to give these guys some credit. They are planning a re-branding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of their efforts to move forward into the modern era. Certainly, they have modernized from using old rusty iron swords, to the latest in bone saws, although I have no information as to whether we are talking electronic saws, or just the static shiny polished steel variety.

The German government though, have halted all old school weapons' sales, including 'smart weapons' to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, replacing this lucrative trade with new exports there of the very latest in 'surgical strike' bone saws.

And no sooner than I thought of the idea of changing the Saudi flag, when, looking through GOOGLE SEARCH, I found that this had already been done, no doubt because of the investment of Al-Qahtani in internet R & D.

At some point you just have to give up, and get with the 'South Park' program version of things.

I have (given up). ...Meanwhile there are still thousands of civilians detained in Turkey, and hundreds of actual journalists detained without charge or trial there but who cares - Erdogan has the Skype recordings!!

Whereas Jamal Khasoggi was a representative of the Muslim Brotherhood, he had originally started out on the other side - which is the Saudi government-backed 'World Muslim League,' a group that backed the infamous Huma Abedin.

None of this is exactly - 'simple...'

Just Ridiculous

I blame the present abysmal state of the corporate media. I am doing my absolute best to stay away from this current lunacy over what did or did not happen to Jamal Khashoggi.

But at the same time if you read here you are entitled to have at least sufficient background to whatever is being presented as 'the facts' by the press.

When the media relays some 'leak' or 'rumor' that someone was being tortured and killed inside an Embassy which the Turkish government was covertly 'bugging' at very minimum you should also know certain other facts that are connected to what transpired.
Captagon tablets

Underground labs in Turkey, Syria, and ENGLAND produce TONS - I kid you not - many many TONS of a substance called 'Captagon,' a compound of Amphetamine and Phenethylline. This latter substance on its own is fairly benign and is marketed widely over the counter as 'Theophylline.' It is used by ISIS soldiers and is known by them as 'chemical courage.' It can be used by people with heart conditions because it does not - unless reacting to other substances - raise the heart-rate.

Whereas the US media is currently running stories about Fentanyl being illegally distributed in the streets, possibly from China sources and sent through the mail, there is simply no doubt at all that it is more Captagon that is being spread around and to which people are becoming addicted and from which many instances of violent outbursts have resulted.

There are considerable gaps in the 'story' that has come through the media about Jamal Khashoggi's demise. On the surface, all the official stories from the Saudi/US side say 'something went amiss' with an interrogation, and that there was a fight and that the disposal of the body was something that compounded the situation regarding proper disclosure and so on.

1. Khashoggi did not go to the Embassy because he was seeking a promised set of documents. Get that firmly out of your head. And we will not be told EXACTLY why he went there or was even in Turkey at all - Turkey has hundreds of actual journalists that it has imprisoned without trial right now and Khashoggi was going there as a spokesperson and champion of whose freedom, exactly? I was wrong in a previous post here - Erdogan arrested 88,000(!) civilians at army gunpoint marching these through the streets you might recall the videos - after his coup, not 14,000.

2. Khashoggi was suffering from emphysema and had a heart condition.

3. If there were drugs implicated in the 'scene' at the Embassy - either used by any of the Saudi 'hit' team, or Khashoggi himself - and if that drug was Captagon, then a violent outcome was certain in the circumstances.

...And if Captagon was used, then it could be a reason for the disposal of the body, which would have had metabolites present to an autopsy.

I cannot say here who is the number 1 manufacturer and distributor of Captagon in Syria, but it is not the Syrian Government, nor the American Government, nor the Russian Government - and the Turkish government is only 'number 2...'

It is not the Saudi Government either although there have been instances of 'elites' there being caught with plane loads of the stuff going to who-knows-where.

Just don't get the idea that if I go back to sticking to talking about nice lovely luxury things here, and stupid money talk and fine clothes from Savile Row or Naples or Milan or somewhere, that I condone all of these present-day governments in the UK and all across Europe, whose wonderful legacy of democracy is rape gangs 'grooming' young economically under-privileged families in the Western Midlands or Westphalia or Glebe or whatever. Or that I am unaware of what is going on down there, in the dirty streets where only the poor unwashed masses reside. If Jamal Khashoggi was desirous of introducing modern Western democracy to the repressed society that Saudi Arabia is, then he was plainly disconnected from reality, even given that so is the society of Saudi Arabia also disconnected from reality.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Wins Again

Honorary Australian, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, won this year's (2018) five million dollar Caulfield Cup horse race over the classic Derby distance of 2400 meters.

His stable manager and race horse trainer Saeed bin Suroor led the winning horse - Best Solution - into the yard after the stunning victory. The horse had taken off very early on from probably before the 800 meters, running to the lead and racing powerfully, from which point on he was never actually countered although the second placed horse Homesman also sprinted well at the end and came close.
This is Kodiac - the sire of Best Solution,
it has the same racing style as Secretariat, and has some related
bloodline, being part of the Neartic/Nearco/Ribot strands

For serious racing watchers, the important thing to consider was that not only did the winner start out his charge forward from a long way out from the winning post, but he continued all the way from then in very strong fashion, and it was clear he had no shortage of stamina at the end. Bin Suroor's style of training heavily relies on the slow building of stamina into a horse and his top line horses never lack stamina if they are fit and well to race.

I really love that someone like Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum wins such a great classic international race such as the Caulfield Cup - it's a race contested by only the very best horsemen and women and it requires a true racer, an animal that can sprint, run fast, and also have heart and courage and produce stamina as and when required.
Godolphin Racing's Saeed bin Suroor - a truly great modern
racehorse trainer

The media-led 'underside' of the story of course, includes questions over what has happened to His Highness's daughter (one of them, at least) Princess Latifa. My view is that she is a lot safer currently than being in the grasp of say, a 'Dr Christine Blasey Ford,' for instance, or swanning around in Londonistan with a lot of clever, and very sophisticated people who know what they are doing to a young person... There are risks with prominent people being open to all influences that the media will cry crocodile tears about, after any 'sad' event takes place subsequent to the 'freedom' they keep clamoring about.

In recent years, the general media has become psychotic and deliberately forgetful, giving one side of a picture that misleads people using sophisticated emotional manipulation tactics. You have not seen a single report, have you, that the Crown Prince Salman was shot at and almost killed not long ago, by the Muslim Brotherhood - the group behind the so-called 'Arab Spring,' which the late Jamal Khashoggi was wildly enthusiastic about, and having raised millions from wealthy Saudis for, over the last few years. And nor have you seen any reports that this Khashoggi (there are a lot of them) suffered several strokes recently and had emphysema from too many cigars and too much alcohol.

The lurid and gruesome accounts of what supposedly happened at the Saudi Embassy are not entirely out of the question, given the animosity the Saudi General Intelligence Service might have about the failed earlier assassination attempt on Salman.

However, if you go by the Secretary of State of the US's report on all available facts - these things DID NOT happen.

I think Khashoggi had a heart attack and died and possibly he was indeed being held by the neck by someone at the specific time, and furthermore, there are genuine unresolved questions as to why so many personnel from the Saudi inner circle of the Intelligence Service required to be there ostensibly 'interrogating' Khashoggi - if that was what was admitted to have been going on.

There is simply insufficient factual knowledge at the moment regarding why Khashoggi would even go to Turkey - which has 245 journalists detained under 'arrest' right now and at the time he traveled there. This makes no sense unless he was specifically invited by Erdogan for the purposes of being briefed about pushing narratives in the Washington Post about the extradition of Fethullah Gulen to susceptible American politicians. And that would make Khashoggi an agent of Erdogan and once again, the Muslim Brotherhood, which supports Erdogan.

This is by absolutely no means whatsoever about some naiive and innocent 'angel' who was brutally and callously tortured and murdered after having been 'lured' to the Saudi Embassy by the Saudis.

Our Private Club

Used to be, in the grand old days, that the gentleman's private club was never of specific interest to most women.

And that was because the food and the service within, you see, was not the kind favored by ladies at all, nor the service of the particularly genteel type - ex-Sar' Majors moving around the place giving orders to staff and inquiring as to the standard of the curry puffs or club sandwiches and ensuring that the beer was genuinely cold.
Club curry puffs

In the old day ladies tended to prefer champagne - which is generally not the beverage of choice for mornings unless one is in the enclosure at the races...

Yes, old club-men can manage the mornings with beer, and even breakfast in Asia and/or the Tropics generally does consist of something, ...and beer.

The real private club does mornings, and then moves on from there to the rest of the day, and on to the evenings, and the late nights.

When we take our decent newspapers in the morning - not that there are any anymore these days - we can absorb authentic statistics and balance our conclusions as a result: you know, read things such as the Stockholm Center's claim that there are 245 journalists currently being detained by the government of Turkey...

Or important historical facts, like the fact that the Danish brewer Carlsberg identified the first totally pure yeast for beer back in 1883 (Dr Emil Christian Hansen at the Carlsberg laboratories first isolated and identified the strand), which allowed for the modern industry to produce an assured quality of brewed beer because the brews were no long adulterated by substances that regularly spoiled the process - and that Carlsberg gave their pure yeast to the rest of the brewing industry and to the world freely because they believed in helping all brewers of beer and the world of beer drinking at large.

See...? That will give you a certain elevated sense of appreciation when you down that first beer of the day at your club.

King's College, London and Sandhurst...

King's College, London is, like Sandhurst Royal Military Academy, another one of these current-day UK institutions living off its past history, and building fairy-tales from the obscurity in modern times of the nuances that history often fails to disclose to other than those with a direct family background in the exact matters in question.

Now I am related to the Bell's - one of whom was the sister of Virginia Woolf - Woolf being 'claimed' by King's College as an alumna.

No such thing! There were no women students or pupils at any of the London Universities, the only difference in the case of King's being that their senior masters did not have to be celibate, unlike those of Oxford and Cambridge, and consequently, the wives and mistresses of said senior lecturers and professors created this thing known as 'the ladies' department' which was far away from King's campus itself off Kensington Square and not in the Strand where King's is. These people are shameless and brazen liars who will blatantly lie to the modern-day ignorant public and aggrandize themselves in the most crude ways.
The last Wellesley but one - fine fellow, passed 2014
(also the Duke of Wellington, of course)

Secondly, King's was and still is a paranoid and strongly anti-Catholic institution whose authentic history includes a failed duel between the Duke of Wellington and the Earl of Winchelsea, the latter of which accused Wellington of enacting some kind of plot to re-establish, presumably, a Catholic to the Throne or at least somewhere close to.

Part of today's MI6 is run from out of King's College in the IVF Department grounds and offices. But probably more disturbingly, like Sandhurst, which runs from funding from wealthy and powerful Middle Eastern dictators, King's is the haven of one exiled Saudi surgeon, Saad al-Fagih, and the 'dissident' Saudi physicist Mohammad al-Massari.
And, he's not the Duke of Wellington

Now you have to understand something about so-called 'Saudi dissidents' - they are not really dissenting from the suppression of women, or the ability to rape women and get away with it, or the continuing of slavery and virtual slavery of lowly foreign 'service workers,' and the prospering of the Saudi 'elite' layer of 'society.' What they are dissenting from is the ruler-ship of the House of Saud, specifically.

Well look, I don't know whether this other 'dissident' Jimmy Khashoggi had fingers surgically amputated while still alive, or just his head cut off but still screaming while still alive, or maybe his arms and legs removed - hence 'dismembered' - whilst still alive, by a Saudi expert in anatomy... basically because the story has not been straight one single time since it was first advanced. However I do know that it used to be policy for the general professional media to announce before these kinds of lurid reports something along the lines of: 'we warn that the following material might be disturbing to some viewers,' and that for some reason I cannot say, no such warnings were made in any single version of this fairy-tale from the moment it began being propagated, till now.

And I also know that all of these very graphic stories - Saddam stealing humidicribs from little babies in hospital, 'Jihadi John' cutting off the heads of shackled men in orange jump suits, Syrian flyers being incinerated alive while held in a cage and video'd from many angles - all came from one single office somewhere, oh, perhaps not that far from Kensington Square, Londonistan, would you say...

Now - so that the rest of you know the following is a coded statement for a friend in high office somewhere who travels on plane a lot - these words will seem obscure to most who read here:

the Oxford comma is something I personally regard as an affectation and one moreover, which frankly doesn't make audial sense when you read sentences in which these things occur. But for someone who is always interested in intelligent discussion and whom I know collects a lot of peripheral ideas for some theoretical future use - sometimes, what the Oxford fellow means, is that there is something left unsaid from the litany of 'ands' and -, which one would be best advised to factor in as being there although unsaid, and unseen, and hidden in the shadows...

Khashoggi Story Is Complete BS

'Evidence-free media narratives..."

This is what we've been getting from virtually THE WHOLE ENTIRE BLEEDING LOT OF THEM.

...Plane falls out of sky, however there is no plane.

...Russia kills people with Novichok, a WMD that could kill a whole city block in the amounts claimed to have been used in Salisbury - however there are no bodies... And you can forget the miscellaneous old lady who died weeks later elsewhere.

...'Journalist' murdered in Embassy - however there is no journalist.

Any pattern there?

Nevertheless, sharper than tacks, we have an IMMEDIATE geopolitical position pumped out across the board of all of the whole panoply of the media everywhere - meaning, even whatever is left of the non-biased, objective media, has been totally sucked into the black-hole of disinformation.

The Saudis, expressly Crown Prince Salman himself (who happens to be close to the Trump Family) ordered the obvious murder of Jamal Khashoggi himself, and we must all pull out from any co-operation with him and with Saudi Arabia; he is not acceptable as the leader of Saudi Arabia, especially since he is a serial rapist who was at the party thirty-whatever years ago, with Brett Kavanaugh and he was absolutely blind drunk because Professor-Doctor-Lawyer-Accountant-Brain Surgeon and Astronaut 'Chrissy' Blasey Ford-Prefect says so and she must be believed!!

Zero, absolutely zero facts whatsoever.

Erdogan, who jailed thousands of people even vaguely suspected of being potentially opposed to his dictatorship (he is a dictator categorically ever since he combined the roles of chief elected minister and head of state of Turkey) produced one external video camera clip and allegations about recordings of a brutal murder carried out by Saudi operatives inside their own Saudi Embassy. Bad bad Saudis.

Meanwhile, the facts we do have are these: John Brennan lost his security clearance and so did Hillary Clinton and then suddenly lo and behold, Jamal Khashoggi is either dead or missing, or missing and dead.

If you refer back to my article here of the 18th of April 2018 concerning the history of the Saudi Secret Intelligence operation under the old Saudi regime, pre-Salman, you will see that it prominently noted what Adnan Khashoggi's role was with the Petrodollar elites. Jamal was the cousin of the late Adnan and from all of the published views of Jamal Khashoggi, he (Jamal) was a chief strategist for the modern-day Muslim Brotherhood. He's no journalist! He got given a whole entire newspaper to own and run in Saudi Arabia by the old Saudi Foreign Minister. Other than that he has no track record nor any qualifications as a 'journalist!'

Yet even so, does that mean the Saudis killed him in their own Embassy after having lured him there, and then - as Erdogan's mouthpieces have it - dismembered his body after torturing him first...?

If this is true in any measure whatsoever, and Erdogan wanted to press some leverage over the Saudis and gain favor with the Trump Administration, he would have immediately invited a specialist team of forensics experts from the FBI.

It did not happen. By which I mean the media's speculation that Khashoggi was lured into and then murdered by Saudis in the Saudi Embassy is based on a fiction.

The World's Richest Horse Race

The media is guilty of this nonsense of trying to qualify the statement like this: the world's richest horse race on turf.

Turf racing is horse racing, all the other things are rink-dink fake pretend horse races where the track-owners either are too cheap to spend the money to look after a proper turf circuit, or else the environment 'on course' is so artificial due to the local climate, that growing proper grass for racing on is impossible. To say nothing of the 'help' to soft-conditioned super wealthy people's toy race horses that float and bounce on rubberized surfaces...

Redzel

The Everest held in Sydney, Australia, is the world richest horse race.

Redzel - whom we have spoken about here before, won it again, for the second year in a row.

And the trainer, Peter Snowden - one of the best trainers in the world today - was totally overcome during the interview immediately after the race. This was a 13 million dollar race and he's won it twice in successive years. He talked about god in the interview... And there were tears threatening to pour down his face.

LOL
Peter Snowden was completely overcome at one point

As someone with a past in the world of professional gambling, I should point out that professional gambling is not about trying to win any particular single race, or attempting to put all your stock into 'the next race' - but rather, to organize your stake and calculate ways of profiting over several races on average and achieving the best odds (prices) not just any odds on what you think is most likely to win.

At the same time I have a genuine appreciation of what it takes to be an owner, or trainer, or dedicated follower of horses, and these sorts of highest level events are a source of admiration for me of the unique traits of race horses, and of the love and the dedication of owners and trainers. I find I generally cannot bet on these events. Some people assume that for trainers and owners it's just about the money - it's not about the money. What horse racing can teach you, if you are observant, is a certain baroque depth about life that almost nothing else can teach you consistently - maybe opera, some classical music, some old school heavy rock music, also can (teach)...

This weekend we saw some authentic star race horses. And for some reason the last seven or eight years have produced some of the best horses all in the same general era, that I have ever seen over fifty years.

Today, in terms of prospectives, rather than seasoned older horses who have very restricted opportunities, we also saw the second best horse in the world, in my view - second only to the great mare Winx. And that horse is 'The Autumn Sun.'

When you invest in something, 'gamble' on something, the correct way to 'strategize' about what you are doing is to find the spot where the best outcome is joy, the worst outcome is joy, and the optimum outcome is joy - and if any of them are hitting up against fear, you're doing it wrong.

The Mohallil Everest Horse Race

Coming up on the 13th of October is The Everest horse race at Randwick Race Track in Sydney - which will be the richest horse race on turf in the world, offering 13 million dollars to the to be shared between the winners and place-getters - and to so some extent all the 12 starters wherever they come because the basis of the race itself is quite unusual:

People, wealthy, in fact very wealthy, people, invest in a 'slot' (one of twelve such slots), and then having secured their slot, they 'invite' a horse they think can win into taking up the slot and racing for the actual 13 million dollars in prize-money. At the moment, the going rate for buying a slot is $600,000. The slot-owners negotiate with the owners and trainers of their invited horse (or horses) for the percentage split-up of the eventual prize-money.
13 million dollars The Everest horse race, diamond-encrusted trophy
This is real horse racing!

As far as I can read it, this would all be in compliance with the concept of 'Sadaqa' racing in Islam, with the transacting over the prize-money and starting slots known as 'mohallil' business.

This is all of some interest to me because I am currently working on an aspect of this with some 'rich kids of Dubai...!'

Anyway, The Everest horse race is a fantastic idea and this year - as in the small number of previous years in which it was run - the twelve 'slotted horses' are extraordinary animals. The race is a sprint race over 1200 meters and it is without question the most interesting serious racing horse race in the world for professionals in horse racing and wagering - or, to put it in the appropriate form for this Muslims around the place, 'transacting over the starting place and the prize-money.'

Given the nature of the process of 'inviting' horses to a starting slot, I would presume that either part of, of an additional sum would most certainly be given to the owners and trainers just for plain accepting the slot.

For me this is going to be a sensational, truly exciting event - something I really enjoy at this rather late stage in my horse racing 'career.' Smaller contests generally cannot get me to stake meaningful sums any more, and most of the well-known traditional 'big' races for me at least, are 'spun' as entertainment by Turf Clubs and are no long true contests of horse, rider, and trainer and owner. This thing - The Everest - is.

They can whinge all they like about the people in Sydney Horse Racing using the Sydney Opera House as a gambling advertising billboard! Too bad.

MI5 'Official' Permission To Do Crime...

The 'Third Direction' - official permission for MI5 people to commit crimes!!

The thing that occurs to me most of all at the present time, is that it seems that a lot of people, all across the whole globe are over-playing their hands right now.

What is going on? Do they all feel some zeitgeist they don't like, coming upon them?

Xi Jinping is a prime example - what on earth is he doing? He'd already secured absolute power 'legally' but now instead of living in the strength of that, he's jumping at shadows everywhere. It's almost like he feels less secure than ever.
Old School

Communist China has a track record of instability among the 'power elite' at the top, with murders and assassinations having happened many times but always presented to the public as 'air accidents' (Lin Biao being the biggest political figure) or 'retirements into oblivion.'

Xi Jinping is already the walking dead - for two reasons, firstly, if he succeeds in foiling all the coming attempts against him, he will utterly lose control of the country as the economic giant it was becoming; he does not now, and cannot by harsh dictatorship, actually control the manufacturing industries of Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, or the inland regions - in other words, he controls nothing if not by 'general assent' of the people and the administrators. So he controls nothing. Period. Beijing's appearance of control over Hong Kong is superficial now. And they have zero chance of overpowering Taiwan at all now. The days of rampant stealing of high technology are over. So what does China have? Nothing. It's finished.

And this makes him, Xi, incredibly vulnerable to the Trump foreign policy style and strategies.

But all of this is because he continues to overplay what might have been a very strong hand, had he just built up his position through benevolence - he's done exactly the opposite and now he's got no aces left. No one trusts him and no one can now or ever will. The only question is how gruesome will his end be. Yes yes, I know he thinks he's 'the Supreme Power Under All Of Heaven' and that he is doing the 'good + bad' 'yin/yang' thing but he's not doing it right; he's coming across like a power-hungry, power-mad, idiot.

In the same way, this recent Christine Blasey Ford thing just exposed the hand of the 'Deep State' - and if anything, it ended up proving there really IS such a thing as the 'Deep State' and that it's not a conspiracy theory at all.
At least this guy actually tells you he's an actor!

Same again, with the latest revelations in the UK about MI5 (and we only know officially about MI5 and not MI6 because the Information Writs were only applied for for MI5) - namely, that there was an official scheme known as 'the Third Direction' which allowed MI5 assets and operatives and paid informants to participate in criminal activities.

I mean really, there is no such thing as 'permission to commit crimes!!' It's not legal in any sense of principles of Law, it's not even legal in any black letter laws. It's just underhanded nonsense schemed and carried out by criminals masquerading as politicians and top-line administrators.

This fellow - 'Lord Justice Sir (can you see all the BS?) Adrian Fulford' - was set up to do 'oversight' on this arrangement to ensure that, to ensure that, to ensure what, exactly -, that no laws were broken too much while they were doing crimes??? God, what a laugh.

What a lot of bloody nonsense and claptrap. It's purest insanity.

Did MI6 also do this - overseas? In other countries, foreign countries, stealing things and money from innocent, naiive business-people?

What d'we think, Bill? A possibility?

Hey guys - you have my address. Put the money back. Bring it in cash, in big leather bags or paper bags, we won't mind, will we Bill.

I kid you not here -  a couple of Australian Federal Police Officers came to my door one day, and they asked me this question (as they did, I think, my mate around the same time whose name shall not be revealed and who was and still is a business partner): 'what questions or items would you like addressed, IF THERE WAS A JUDGE PERFORMING OVERSIGHT ON WHAT HAPPENED (TO YOU)?'

I remember I just laughed because it meant I/we had caught them red-handed.

And do I expect any re-imbursement, ever? Nope. I just hope to keep on grinning as another and another fool falls. And the show ain't over yet, not by a long shot.

Meanwhile, take note of the negative words from people on the Right like Jack Posobiec and a lot of others, about Jordan Peterson. Peterson is another of these 'over-played,' 'wrong timing' hands, exposed now, played too soon for zero effect. A wasted investment. And a big investment. Wasted. Amazing.

...It's like, well, all the pawns are keeling over and some knights and bishops too.

What the hell is going on? I'm sure I don't know.

I just want you to know though, this has been a very sophisticated, big league game with lots of strands and layers and vast networks - all coming asunder now.

It's simply amazing.

Sophisticated And Sinister

Kudos to 'Zerohedge,' the on-line news and politics journal which has basically uncovered close involvement of DNC staffers with the attorneys for various 'witnesses' (they actually witnessed nothing) to do with the accusations against Judge Kavanaugh. This 'close involvement' really constitutes influencing and manipulating of witnesses.

In any case, probably even more significantly, Zerohedge has brought to light the 'political communications' firm (TSD Communications) behind the strategy to wreck the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh. Key to what the Left's problem with Kavanaugh is, appears to be the largely political question of whether or not Presidential 'over-reach' and 'executive power' needs to be curtailed or reigned-in. And they have targeted Senator Jeff Flake and Senator Susan Collins as individuals who may regard President Trump as 'needing to be reigned-in.' But very specifically, the senior brains in the key strategy group openly has also told its followers, that whether not Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed, they can damage him politically for a long time to come, if not permanently poison his confirmation. I rarely link, but here is the excellent ZH article: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-10-05/blasey-fords-fbi-polygraph-buddy-pressured-woman-mystery-groping-party-change-story
Ricki Seidman

And that's the way these people think. But even Zerohedge will never be able to tell you exactly how these strategies are actually implemented or what goes into preparing of the 'accusers' and 'witnesses' and the 'image-making' behind the theoretical strategy elements.

It is much more sophisticated and cunning and manipulative and organized than you can imagine at first glance - and it involves large networked groups and highly-placed people.

You could sit back and listen to the voice of Ricki Seidman from TSD and think: 'Hmn, that voice does have that odd upward inflection of word-sounding that Chrissy Blasey Ford has in her accent and vocal delivery,' but would you jump to the conclusion that these two people are either really close colleagues in the same political agency or one has literally 'directed' the other as in say, a director would their main star actor. You should. And it's much worse than that - as I have suggested previously. This is done at the level of the Office of Entertainment Liaison at the CIA, using panels of public image consultants including George Lucas.

Who you are looking at, when you see this 'identity' 'Chrissy Blasey Ford' render testimony to torpedo a judge in the Senate chamber, is someone - an actor - who is a proxy for Seidman and for TSD Communications.
Christmas ('Chrissy') Noel Snow, in 'American Graffiti' (1973)

I don't need to go 'too far' here and actually voice what would be viewed as quite bizarre conspiracy theories, except to say that you will never find anyone attesting to having known this 'Chrissy Blasey' at that school at that time in question, other than individuals who are inside the same circle of DNC staffers, and TSD Communications.

October Is Applejack

Applejack is this pretty decent fruit wine/cider thing they make in America. It's not too dissimilar to a range of other fruit-based liqueurs or even fruit brandies that typically come from Europe, such as sparkling perry (a pear-based sparkling 'wine') or cherry cordial (alcoholic) and particularly calvados, which is specifically an apple-flavored wine. Applejack does not generally have any tiny bubbles in it like most other ciders tend to and thus comes across more like a fairly benign fruit brandy or liqueur. Most modern era 'Applejack' products are in fact fermented apple juice spiked with actual apple brandy. As everyone already knows, traditional Applejack was made by concentrating the alcohol through leaving casks of slightly fermented apple-juice in the frozen ground in winter thus extracting the water as the ice that formed within the casks.

Freeze distilling substantially increases the alcoholic percentage of the subsequent liquid...

Judge Brett 'Applejack' Kavanaugh would approve, I feel sure.

Anyway the chance that Kavanaugh will not be confirmed is nil because it is October, the Halloween month, and it is the month for American alcohol and Applejack and drinkin' and messin' around and if'n he dohn git confirmed all the demons of Hell will be released onto them-a varmints in-a Washin'n and there's-a gunna be electric lightnin' coming down the'yr eyes and fahyr'n on the mountains run boyz rern, devil's in the House of the Risin' Sern. Yer. Y'all.

MAGA.

as well...

MASA.
