I posted the modernized Venice Operatic Aria sung by Sylvia Tosun a couple of days or so, ago.
Most people watching the official video of it would be disturbed by the apparent 'tragedy;' the taking a life, the disruption of a lover's nascent affair.
I posed the question to half a dozen people I knew and none so far was able to say who was the 'angel' of the song's lyric subject and song title.

To cut (pun...) to the chase, it was the one (and in fact there were two there, one who held the 'victim' back while the first knifed him) with the switch-blade.
Yes, there are other 'angels' also there: two Hell's Angels.
Now you get it, right.
Great Art and Culture is filled with double meanings, and sometimes much more than just 'double.'
What I am seeking to do here is make things extremely truncated and easy. And that is in order to start some effects and to have them begin operating quickly and efficiently.
The whole of our modern life is not designed for anyone to go sit on a mountain-top 'Om-ing.'
So what I have done is get to something that works best and especially if you are tired out.
When the phrase is thrown around 'people are (too) materialistic,' what it really means is that they want to have palpable sensory stimulation directly - because they have no time to conduct all of the generally required preparations that move away the cares and pressures of the banal world, and get to the feeling/s straightaway.

On the one hand they want to feel good, but they cannot afford the time to get themselves to stand at a sufficient distance from what actually is making them feel 'not good...'
'They cannot afford' meaning that their reactive brain is responding to the pressures, the deliberate pressures placed onto it, from overlords desiring to have and to maintain slaves; to keep them in slavery.
You see one problem is that when confronted with plain facts, most people today will go straight back to a false idea to which they have been made to cling, by having been swindled into an emotional compulsion, a state of addiction.
The number of times, for instance, that I have been very angrily countered by people, whenever I say that not only are the Dead Sea Scrolls not that old, but that the actual old complete text ones in there, are all in Greek not Hebrew or Aramaic and that the only Hebrew at all in any case, is in fragments...
The Book of Jeremiah and Nahum, are entire, and entirely written in Greek and they are reliably dated to around 300 BC.
The rest of the bits and pieces have very friable dating and the methods used are all 'debatable' and contested and debated.

Same goes for whenever you want to talk about the world's oldest libraries - it is in fact the Tel Ebla in North East Syria, which existed at at least 3000 BC; and not the Library of Ashurbanipal in Iraq which dates to only around 700 BC.
And this is to say nothing of any collections of knowledge in Greater India, which could have been more than ten thousand years old.
People want to insist on things that are simply not facts.
Instead of just say what is a fact and then leave it at that for greater future knowledge to qualify, people have this insistent and very strident bent to, essentially, be slaves. To be enslaved by a very deliberate plan and scheme to keep them far away from opening up 'Cosmic-level' knowledge, you could put it.
In the darkness of the Theater, as the players enter the proscenium, from out of that darkness, that quietness, that break from the disturbances of the field of daily life and pressures, true thinking is able to emerge.
EVERYTHING is an imposition upon you, today.
People make you do things, material necessity forces you to avoid thinking qualitatively, and sheer physical exhaustion blocks you from entering the proscenium, to the Divine Presence/s.
The seven stanza ('rooms of a house') verse poetry of the Lord's Prayer, is similar to the Om-Na-Ma-Shi-Va-Ya-Om, similar to the Aum Tryambakam seven-step or seven ladder approach through the intellectual proscenium -, to the Divine Presence/s.
And, I would recommend any of those things to those who are worried and fearful of seeing, or approaching, what many people would say are 'Demonic Visions,' through the proscenium arch, to be under the Mishkan of the Presence of a Real Being.
Because you are not going to see 'Yahweh' and you are not going to see 'Allah.' You are going to see something as scary as the guy in the leather jacket with the flick-knife and the friend who could hold you restricted from running away or counter-attacking.
What you will see could easily start out disturbing you in the very same way that you were disturbed when you watched the Sylvia Tosun Aria about the almost-Romeo/Juliet tragedy scene in a cut-down form.
But anyway, here is the method:
You know what a traffic light is like - it has Red, Orange, and Green blazing signals in their turn.
Well, instead of that, in the state of absolute exhaustion and tiredness - which you should be in, in the modern daily world, at the end of your average given day - you must think about a traffic light, containing only the color lilac.
Most of the typical occult or esoteric texts that talk about these things say that you 'ingest the color' by say, thinking about a shaft coming out and entering into you.
Well, you don't.
Just lick it.
Taste it.
Sense it.
Imbibe it.
