I am just not the person who ascribes to this idea about faith and belief.
Faith and belief to me are what a proper scientist has before he embarks on testing some hypothesis that he hopes might be true.
Such a person has faith in intellectual tools, and belief in the consistency of the performance or known systems and logical frameworks.
Alone in the dark, in the deep woods, again. But there is a light I see... Even so I shall stay inside these deep woods now a little longer. |
But there are also moral systems and frameworks. To be a truly social being, one simply must have some consciousness of the other, some appreciation for empathy.
When someone does some compassionate things - for others, often others they have never met and do not (yet) know - they are literally affecting the soul lives of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands not just the individuals they directly helped; they are permitting other souls to perceive the manifested existence of compassion and to feel the value of empathy. ...Through their example, through the stories of their example, through simply the unseen but spiritual field effect of their work.
As it is true that humans lose their soul through outright deliberate choices to be harmful and arrogant and exploitative, it is true that others maintain their spiritual chances by at least gaining some glimpse of the power of externalized compassion. But someone else needs to be the example.
This is the 'Buddha in the piece of wood.'
To everyone without the inner vision it is just a block of wood - to the spiritual artist the block of wood simply needs to be cut away to reveal the Buddha within.
What are the odds of a material return either in gratitude or even in some kind of real physical return or reward?
Well the Biblical odds are one-in-ten: ten beggars (or lepers, I forget) got healed and only one returned to say even 'thanks.'
But here's a better one than that though, from the Bible - 'for God made it that what is not, becomes so, to undo that which is.'
Things you want. Yes, yes, you want them. |
There is nothing that you can think of, can hold out hope for - that cannot eventuate through a Divine Power and Will.
I have a rule about that though - a sutra (means a rule/Divine Rule).
Don't hope for things that are boring.
Is it not true that your mind can devise utterly alarmingly outrageous things, things that cannot possibly be real or true in any sane person's vision?
LOL
Don't waste your time 'praying to the gods' for mediocre things. This is just 'testing the gods,' and not 'asking them' or trying to persuade them.
You have a power and force inside of you, that can overturn castles, tip over giants, cut down mountains and throw them into the sea.
You have an unlimited prospective creativity. Therefore entice and seduce the gods themselves.
This is the Vedic meaning in the Sanskrit of 'shastra' and 'astra' weapons.
One is 'written in the stars,' but the other is in your hand.
Means that it is a manifested actuality already, somehow.
One of the hidden Golden Sutras is inside your own mind.
You do not have the direct material physical power to do very much yourself - but the gods do. And yet you yourself are the one that can bend the gods, despite all of their claim to being unyielding and rigid in their rules and courses.
It's just chocolate, isn't it Bill? |
And yes you are still for a short while physically mortal and exposed to many dangers, threats, vulnerabilities, and harms of the world and from worldly creatures and un-elevated men - so we must step cautiously across the knife's edge of our own arrogance.
Again, it is written - 'be not conformed to the world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is good, well-pleasing, and the perfect Will of God.'
It is not with arrogance that we approach the Temple of the God, but with the sure knowledge of our own innate power within to persuade with winning eloquence ('peitho').
Innate means gifted at birth.
You might have previously supposed you have nothing, or at least less than what you require, to get you what you want.
But it's not up to you to 'get it' (what you want); it's up to others to become persuaded that they must give it to you.
Apparently, in the UFO/Alien contact community, they say the Aliens promised them that if they were in any kind of serious trouble, that they would come and rescue them in fifteen minutes.
...King David said around twenty/thirty minutes, in the Old Testament.
Wonder why there is this hysteresis - in both of their accounts of things?
The scriptural figure of a serpent as being an agent of Evil, is based on some simple visual logic:
The snake appears to have a head inside of which there must be a flattened kind of brain, one that definitely does not have the large amount of neurons and connections that say a whale or an elephant does possess.
Its body switches back on itself regularly when it moves (although believe me, I have seen snakes spear forwards to strike in extremely straight lines) - which is a visual metaphor for deception and 'back-tracking.'
The snake is antipathetic to the human because the human's best qualities involve its ability to have many neuron connections and many complex ones - the human can make intelligent judgments about other humans and other beings; that are rooted in concepts of empathy.
The idea that there are special kinds of angelic beings that are in some way 'flaming' or 'fiery' serpents, is a mistaken translation of a concept to do with the fact that these creatures completely enfold, and can coil around someone - or even an idea so that they command it fully - and are indeed so highly vibrating that they present visually to human perceptions as ignited flames.
What we consider 'evil' as humans, is the harm that is done, especially when it is intentional, and malicious; although we certainly also say that accidental harm is evil in a particular way.
Some snakes have poison as a natural part of their make-up, whereas humans should not at all have such hidden-away actual harmful capacities. Where some go very astray, is that they use their extensive neuron connections to become tool-makers, but then, killing tool makers. They are literally poisonous; toxic. And like creatures with flat heads and not much brains, they do not think about what they are doing.
The kind of sentience that is in human beings is not acceptable to be in the kinds of creatures with no brains and no human heartfulness. It is one thing to 'cast the human' out of the Garden of Eden on account of its decisions to cause harm and to 'know Evil.'
It is quite another thing to permit this creature to continue with a higher level of sentience inside it whilst at the same time it works diligently to make the tools of envenomation and acquires many means of harming its fellow man.
And this is where the scriptural phrase 'and you will lose your soul -,' comes from.Play a red laser light onto some
blue sugar crystals and see what
happens.
If a person insists on being the kind of thing that does all of these harmful and misguided actions which impact others - then it is inevitable that they lose their human soul.
The concept of 'Divine Judgment' is not one of a God-person sitting on a throne somewhere and telling a human person that they are doomed!
It is the fact that the Universal Field will eventually confront a person with themselves, and in such a way that they must acknowledge that it is them or has been them themselves (that they are looking at) - and that they can choose to go the same way that they were, or select another way. If they choose to go the same way they lose their human sentience.
But making a human sentient choice is just about intention and desire, not about the context that is actually materially obtaining: a snake cannot choose to be a cuddly puppy; it is simply what it is - a snake.
The reason human souls do go round and round in this long-winded cycle of re-incarnation is that they cannot focus on what a truly morally decent physical entity looks like. For after all, despite what they want to say for themselves, they are beings that know Evil. Not many of them want to know it once they do acquire that knowledge. But then they also don't know how to abandon it. So they must live and live again in roughly always the same set of circumstances, with some permutations and combinations altering now and again.
It is only when the individual person decides of themselves, chooses, to turn to another way - that they leave this world forever.
The Seraphs - those creatures who are nearest to the Throne of God - have bodies that are capable of handling the intense and high frequency vibrations and dynamics of the highest estate (oiketerion/'dwelling'). And these are the beings you will almost immediately encounter once you choose the other way.
The current population of the world is presumed to be around 8 billion people.
This is according to the official figures acquired by the United Nations from all participating countries and other data-gathering sources which are considered reliable by that body.
Whatever the true actual figure is, it is a large number of human beings in all events - when compared to say, the number of people who read here...
Who is behind the mask? |
In fact, statistically, you would not be considered a 'statistically real number.'
And what does that even mean?
I don't know.
Now I'm not going to give out one of these 'significations' that clearly delineate what it is you are about to read. ...I'm just going to talk a little about a category of ancient and rather legendary texts known as the Emerald Tablets.
Sometimes they are also called 'the Mirrors of Heaven.'
There are quite a few of these and mostly they are translations of a fairly standard short piece, although there is a version of them which contains a preface as it were, in which an inquirer after knowledge and wisdom chances upon a cave, in which he finds a very ancient man, but one of superhuman size, holding the actual emerald tablet/s itself - or themselves, depending on what each variation of the story says.
It has become a classic aphorism this main saying from these texts: 'As Above, So Below.'
And okay, that's all very fine and quite catchy.
Except it's not what the emerald tablet actually says.
You will be, of course, quite surprised to learn that this text is contained in the Gospels.
As you are already aware, there are two distinct formulations of the Emerald Tablets, one of which is specifically rendered as the Egyptian Emerald Tablets of Thoth, although both claim to be speaking of exactly the same supernatural encounter and supernatural or superhuman characters that are involved inside of the narrative.
The Arabic translation that appeared in the Middle Ages by someone 'ibn Hayyan' (who, like so many others from the Arabic manuscript tradition, never actually existed as a real person), however, is one of the best renderings of the original composition.
In a celestial place... |
'Hayyan' is a literary pointer to the Arabic mythical 'Idries' or 'Al-Khidr' - Enoch or even Hermes - who is someone who exists in Arabic Islamic culture as a mythical identity with stupendous mythical powers, especially of giving life, making dead things come back to life.
'Hayyan' simply means flourishing, and 'Al-Khidr' means 'the Green One.'
Anyway ibn Hayyan renders the first few lines as follows: 'For what is in Heaven can be from what is on the Earth below, and what comes to pass on Earth is from the Heavens (my diacriticals: meaning -, in the air, in the upper atmosphere, in the astral spaces, and/or also in the Celestial Abode of the Gods).
Now.
There are far too many of these YT channels with people speculating and being didactic and also preaching about so many things, all of these subjects as well - and after a while people will become disenchanted with all of it because it will bear no fruit for them.
But you however, are in a different ball-park.
The passage in the Bible which has the greatest bearing on the ideas of Thoth, is this one to do with the 'storing up of treasures in Heaven.'
Right?
Because... ...and by the way, what is the actual word in the original source text for 'treasures?'
You know, right.
You know how you can tell a really rich person? |
Thoth was the demi-god head of a scribal initiate 'school' in ancient Egypt, in the initiation rites of which, people are taken firstly through 'dream halls' and then into a 'dark room where the implements of writing are consecrated' and then taken through what their (pre-arranged) responses are to various moral questions, and then finally after that they are made part of the formal scribal college of Thoth. Dr Justin Sledge says in his video on the history of it, that they - the scribes - kept magical notebooks which were then referred to by other later writers and used as source texts on many matters.
'Thoth' is actually 'Teuth' in the demotic Egyptian language of the time, from which the Greeks got their word 'Tutor.' Which we have borrowed.
So, the actual word.
Is 'thesaurus.' 'Treasures of' is 'thesaurus.'
...Once upon a time, there lived a poor but honest farm boy called Jack.
And one day, Jack cast some beans he had kept all day in his hat, out of his window before he went to sleep, and then, during the night, the magical beans grew, all the way up into the clouds. Next day, Jack climbed up the gigantic beanstalk, all the way into the clouds, where he upon'd a castle owned by a giant, in which there were great treasures of gold and silver and all kinds of gemstones, as well as magical things such as a harp that played by itself.
Now, do not tell me you are all not smart enough to know what you have just been told and to piece it all together, because certainly, it has been told in 'bits and pieces' like a jigsaw puzzle that has been strewn out onto the floor.
So, the big problem with actually fulfilling any of these usual linear progressions of investing an amount of initial capital, is that one hundred dollars lives in your head differently from five thousand dollars.
When you have one hundred dollars at stake that is one thing, but when you are thinking about five thousand dollars or more being at stake, the amount of time it takes to replace five thousand if you lost it, is different. There is a lot of time at stake. No burgundy, no beef burgundy.
Money is, in addition to a lot of other things, also an expression of time.
Secondly, none of us is going to rely on someone else's say-so about what the future is going to bring.
And even if you employ sophisticated systems such as the Monroe Institute's offerings, unless the results fit into some logical format consistent with our experience of materially lived reality, it is once again, psychologically difficult to accept outlier ideas.
Okay fair enough, short-selling New Zealand insurers just prior to those massive floods and storms down there is questionable as to how one could do that...
Superficially, it is plausible to say that there was the historical precedent of the muddy fields in which Napoleon foundered that followed from ionospheric lightning from erupting volcanoes far away... ...yeah yeah, okay. Maybe. lol
But why buy French cognac today?
Or high quality French wines in general? The canals
are dry in Venice right now.
These go up anyway in the secondary markets, very commonly. And they are not all that easy to procure to begin with.
No, what I said was buy fairly inexpensive bottles. Because in all events, the market for those, as long as they were of a decent standard to begin with, was quite wide.
But how to buy into such things with surety that they will certainly ascend in prices and in value?
Right now the prices have not moved an inch.
Time is easiest to buy in a bottle.
All of these modern-era 'luxury' brands like LV and Chanel and so on are promoters of artificial scarcity. Their prices are dependent on the luxury market disposable dollar.
You want real commodities with the outlook of genuine scarcity about them.
