Of Fairness, Syndromes, And Washing Machines

'A militant sense of unfairness...'

Yes.

In the Vedic Traditions, Lord Shiva is always attended - when He arrives on this planet - with a bunch of strange-looking people. People who act oddly, who look different, who are different.

If He wanted to, He could make them all 'normal,' by giving them the Amrita Nectar -, which cures all diseases, resolves all physical disorders, and also gives immortality.

...In fact some of them - his attendants - even carry the Amrita in bottles with them; but almost never drink it themselves.

conveyance.

The Taoist Traditions have the same story.

I suppose an equivalency in today's myth-narratives is the Midichlorians in the Star Wars canon.

When it comes to gene variances, these are not your standard medical issues.

A tablet will not fix anything (very much).

At the same time though, because already the male and female neurology is materially 'different,' one gene variance condition can already create two different paths of neurology processes.

And yet, the personal consciousness is fully intact and thus the feelings are important to that individual, and are being experienced quite uniquely, when say compared to the rest of us - who are already 'different' and 'unique' in our own ways if not so radically, say, unique. ...You know, the way we use that word liberally.

It is 'Cosmically illegal' to just go around and 'appropriate' Ambrosia from the Gods - in whatever form or 'brand,' be it Hindu, Taoist, or Ammon Hillman-style Ancient Greek!

But - and here is where I will lay a lot of the blame on my own ancestry and therefore allow that the Gods themselves knew perfectly well that Ithax and Tantalus and Hermes and all of these often insubordinate individuals must have passed on at least some of their naughty genes on to me...

Mavrodafni wine...

...Thus, 'but;' as I saythe Gods themselves are nothing if not a touch susceptible to various blandishments about themselves and their Esteemed Position and Wonderful Nature and their Beauty and their basic Goodness -.

And on and on.

There are few today who have any clue as to the exact meaning of the 'wine' as used by the original 'Christians' - those followers of Dionysus, who, amazingly also was always attended while on the planet, by a rag-tag mob of strange followers...

Nevertheless, and without 'stealing' any of the Ambrosial liquid, it is possible to say that the Black Laurel grape of Thrace - Mavrodaphne - which makes the wine called 'Mavrodafni,' also the sweet wines of Cyprus re-branded by the retiring knights of Richard the Lionheart's army, into such things as anything with the term 'Commandaria' in it ('soldier/commander'), as well as the Tokaji wines of Hungary, and further, the 'Marc de Champagne' (which is a brandy as you know, not a Champagne as such), all have the same basis to them in terms of a part at least, of what goes into 'Ambrosia.'

It may be that there is Myrrh, it may be that there is honey -, in the rest of it, who's to say.

It may be that there is always added, a highly-perfumed resin from the Pistacia Lentiscus plant as the Greek physician and botanist Dioscorides wrote, that the Turkish peoples use to make their dondurma ice cream. Or, it may be that in place of that resin, there is Persimmon wood added - which is also highly-perfumed.

'Marc de Champagne' is
as you know, a brandy.
They take the skins, the seeds,
and the stems, which have been
left to ferment on the must, and then
distill all of that after they press it.

But in all events, it is not the person with the particular 'condition' who should be necessarily using this preparation - as much as that person wishing to 'fix' them: for in performing the rites to the Great Gods of Healing - Dionysus, Ambrosia, Apollo, and the Daughters of Asclepius, they are first and foremost, showing respect to the Divinity and from there and from there only, presuming to ask of the Ambrosia.

And never at any time, following such preparations, was it ever recorded or said, that the requests were not answered.

It is that time of the year, moreover, when the Elves are at work at their finest, and in obedience to the Lord of the Dark Winter Woods and to the green shoots of Life, must they forever exist and be.

And also do.
